Re: Next game board
Greater or fewer than the number of people who look at the board but don’t have access to the internet or teletext (or whatever it is called nowadays)?

Re: Next game board
No point having it if it’s not up to date.
Yes it may not bring an extra body in but I thought this was part of promoting the club but if you think that’s not important then get rid of the board and get another advert in its place which will at least bring some money into the club.
It will also save someone the job of changing it and prats like me pointing out when it hasn’t been done even though it was done with the best of intentions and not to criticise.

Probably very few, if any. Next game boards are something from a bygone era, pre social media days. Redundant feature.Dalton Bluebird wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2020 5:47 pm I often wonder how many people actually notice the next game board and of any that do, decide to go to the game?

Re: Next game board
Good point. Get rid of it and get an advertising board there. It’s a prime position and should command a good price.

Re: Next game board
Advertising hoardings do work if the number dotted around the country and across the world is anything to go by. Perhaps what is actually being suggested here by some is changing the format of the 'Next Game board' because one thing is for sure, the club should be using every channel available to get its message across.Jonty wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2020 9:38 pmProbably very few, if any. Re: Next game board
To be fair, if we have a next game board, then it should be up to date.

Re: Next game board
How much to get it advertised on the digital sign on the bypass instead of the pointless "X minutes to the M6"?
We hate Carlisle United, we hate Workington too (and Morecambe), we hate Accrington Stanley but Barrow we love you
