Re: New Signings Rumours
I know a few are making jokey places but someone who I work with in the industry informed me that we are trying to get a deal for former Bradford City youngster Gavin Grant over the line. He's described as a striker with a killer instinct and a great shot.
Steve Herbert supports the nob theory - Saturday 4th February 2012.
If this bus crashed and everybody on it died, Barrow football would end - Daz Boyle, Boston away, August 9th 2014.

Suspect there will be a few new names for us to get our heads around. I'm thinking they will come from three categories of player:Chris Benoit wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 10:35 am I know a few are making jokey places but someone who I work with in the industry informed me that we are trying to get a deal for former Bradford City youngster Gavin Grant over the line. 1. Decent youngsters that fall foul of budget restrictions at L1/L2 clubs.
2. A couple of time served L2 players with a decent pedigree who now find themselves surprisingly available
3. Better quality NL players interested in playing at a higher level
Oh and fourthly of course loanees from Championship squads.
Re: New Signings Rumours
Adam Dawson seems to have itchy feet - Wikipedia has him at 22 moves and counting. Last seen at Radcliffe Borough. Seems unlikely.

I actually think the Coronavirus situation will help us attract some better quality players too as many clubs will be tightening their budgets.Suffolk Blue wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 10:54 amSuspect there will be a few new names for us to get our heads around. In Paul Hornby’s radio interview he eluded to the first two signings by the end of this week.

Lots of names going round ATM. I saw a post other day about striker Dominic Poleon (think stats were 33 goals in 107 games) hes 26. TBH it would be very interesting to know what our current wage bill is and what the BOD are willing to go up to within the 1.5m salary cap as i don't think we will go that high. Personally I'd be trying to get a few of the lads on 1 year deals tied down to 2 year deals now so we keep hold of them. I think we need 2 stikers, a good winger to cross balls in for Quigley, another defensive midfielder and maybe 2 defenders plus a few lads to cover injuries etc.
