A huge window for the club. Thinking of the current squad who will be made available and where we may strengthen.

Players who could go/be made available for loan.

Zouma - have enough defensive options not sure of the length of contract but one to ship out the door.

Sea - not seen much of him seems to be down the pecking order on a short term deal I think, presume he will be released.

Jason Taylor - looks like the legs have gone now. With hardcastle back, C.Taylor on a new deal and Mike Jones hopefully not far away imagine he could be one to go. I would have thought a CM is on Jolleys priority list.

Reid - seen glimpses he can play he's had starts and chances but hasnt really took them can see him going back to Birmingham and jolley looking in a different direction.

Gribbin - Hardly been seen in a barrow shirt a frustration to many who dont believe biggins is the answer in the 10 role (one I share). Against wimbledon in the cup looked our best player something must be going on behind the scenes whether its attitude or what I don't know. Wouldn't be surprised if he went out on loan.

Biggins - A player who divides opinion, unfortunately for me he hasnt got what it takes but I do feel he is trying his best just not good enough as a 10 for me..maybe fan pressure will see his loan spell ended?

Angus - A player on the edges now Jolleys opinion of him will be crucial, could go If jolley wants funds to sign a striker

Courtney Baker-Richardson - never been seen, a footballer I think dunn signed who he put a lot of eggs in his basket. If there is no sign of him getting back to fitness soon may as well release now. Hopefully he is nearing fitness and can offer us something, who knows.

In terms of recruitment I believe a centre midfielder is a must, a pacey tricky, winger who can offer us something different and a change of shape when required. A forward to help take the goal burden off quigleys shoulders. I feel we are well covered in the defence and goal keeping departments.

I think we'll know more by next match as Jolley will have had more time with the squad.
Sea - won't stay
Reid - 50/50 for me
Gribbin - if not in next 2 squads we won't see him again at Barrow
Zouma - out of favour but played well against Wimbledon (I'd keep him as cover)
Biggins - tough one but wouldn't be surprised if he goes back to Fleetwood
Angus - unless Jolley has someone in mind then he'll stay
We still have a couple of lads out injured so depending on how long they are out for might make us go into the market for additional players.
C.Taylor staying until end of season now.
Rumours White going back to Blackburn from Bolton so would he be an option on loan? I would like to see a proven goal scorer in EFL2 or EFL1 come into the club to help Quigley, possibly a winger / wingback as Brown is a fullback so I'd like to see Kay or the right and left footed player come in.
100% we need that spark in midfield who will run all day and can pass forward and score goals ! - that would be no1 priority for me then see what else we can do.

Really not sure about that. He was outstanding when he first came back into the side on a regular basis earlier this season, and with the right players alongside him still has a role to play.

Keep Jason Taylor. Even as a super sub if needs be. Puts his heart and soul into every performance and at times this season, he's been one of our best players, a thorn in the side of teams. Excellent at breaking up plays and putting a foot in.
Angus has pace and can be dangerous. He was an excellent partner to Quigs last season and can play a part this one. Consistency and holding the ball up (being stronger on the ball) need working on in my opinion, but one to keep.
Baker - Richardson: no idea!
Sea- from the little we've seen of him, I thought he looked handy. Cracking left peg against Wimbledon. But the management haven't seemed to favour him. Again, not much to go off.
The others on the list can go for me. Nothing against any of them, but they haven't really improved the team much if at all. Any on the list that stay, should be backups unless there's a monumental upturn in form.

Priority has to be the centre of the field. Ideally a creative, attacking threat and a young (ish) workhorse to compliment that who can run all day. Alongside Hardcastle, that would improve the squad no end. After that, and if there's any pennies left in the piggy bank, a goalscorer to back up Quigs.

Good question. You would imagine so but it'd be good to know. Didn't we terminate Greaves' loan last season? Or was he recalled? I would also add, are we paying 100% of the players wage as well?

Will say one thing players read this forum be surprised if any leave bar lads on loan. My personal opinion also have a look how many goals Angus has scored

Would be genuinely surprised if Jason Taylor left (and it would be the wrong decision) it’s only a few weeks since he was the most consistent player in our team!

We are desperate for a goalscorer and a creative midfielder, feels like I’ve been saying that most years since I started supporting Barrow though.....
Other than that if we are keeping the same formation I would bring in a left wing back

You certainly wouldn't (or shouldn't) have been saying it last season! We had the top goalscorer in the league and the best and most creative midfield player in the league.

I think we'll see little movement. Fingers crossed a midfielder in. Ideally maybe look at loaning Gribbin to a conference side get him some games. Clearly a footballer in him so I'd like to keep him on the books.
