can well understand why there doing this as it does seem unfair that no teams from natoinal league are going down but they still expect a couple of their teams to be promoted , however cant see them winning their appeal as fl knew no teams were being relegated from national league at an early stage and never questioned it . time will tell

I hope we'd have done the same.
It'd have been alright then

But why wait until they’re confirmed as relegated to start the appeal

Why not lodge an appeal before hand and get the weight of a few other clubs behind it.
Bare desperation and clutching at a handful of straws.

Probably because it costs money to launch legal proceedings - no point in shelling out if it's not confirmed you're going down.

So they want the National League to not promote anyone?

To be followed by Torquay and 6 other clubs submitting a motion that to deny them promotion would be unfair.

The 'no relegation from National League' argument doesn't hold water IMO, as the leagues below were suspended so, could not promote. Both L2 and National League completed their season (or will have shortly) so promotion and relegation seems fair.

Unfair try being in our shoes when we were voted out.

Yep. Totally agree with that....should of been started when the North & South finished. Leaving just the National League to play on.
Would of had a decent backing you would have thought.

Exactly, but this is a strong argument. You could argue the NL competition has been impacted by knowing there was no relegation. Will be interesting to see the outcome on this.
