Southport

Post by Methuselah » Fri Jul 30, 2021 11:00 am

I hope everyone is looking forward to tomorrow's game against Southport which will be the last runout for the squad, before the league proper starts next weekend.
It just seems a pity there hasn,t been much talked about it as Southport have been decent opponents in the past.
With all the talk about the Stevenage game,I just hope we have a decent turn out tomorrow and people don,t think it is not worth going to.

That doesn,t mean you shouldn,t go and support the team. After all Bolton was only a friendly and look how many went to that.Southport is also only a couple of hours away

Hope we have come out unscathed from the Forrest game as they now have a few in self isolation.

I think the club would have already announced it if there was going to be a problem.Just looking forward to see the team playing again tomorrow.I thought the way Mark Cooper has got them all playing together was a revelation after last season.
Long may it continue and hopefully climb the league.I liked the way he said in the clubs meet the manager session that it is his intention to try and win every game. It is very different from last season when David Dunn was telling us that this league was a big step up for the team,so much more positive and hopefully that will encourage the team onto greater things and higher position gradually climbing the league. :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

But the league was a big step up and so it proved!

Sure I saw Ed Rum on the comedy circuit a few years back. His horse based routine wasn’t for me. One to avoid.

Looks like a great weekend with things to suit everyone.
I hope the sausages and cider or whisky events don't sidetrack our fans.😂
