When we got him, I was impressed. It seriously now looks like he signed a 3 year deal , to come, moan and to get sacked. Personally I think his attitude stinks. The team look clueless, unorganised, and completely void of ideas going forward. Im not just referring to tonight, but the season so far. I just don’t see us scoring goals.

The moans as you call them are in my opinion justified complaints re the non existence of or delay in providing adequate training facilities .It is I think obvious that the true scale of this deficiency was not spelled out to him and it has hampered his preparation of the squad .This then reflects on him in their performances so I think 4 points on the board and a a lucrative mini cup run is pretty good going.The team run their socks off for Cooper.I think he is trying his very best with these handicaps doing a good job and personally I think his attitude at the moment is correct.He wants this team to do well and has praised support we the paying public give him.He is entitled to br unhappy with current situation and I hope it sorted soon .If we lose him we be in the mire all over again.14 fit players is not good enough unlucky injuries but due to situation.Hopefully Sea back soon but agree May need more firepower to get more points.

I think that's kinda his point Desmond! Hes well within his right for me, at best we hire a Northern Premier league sides ground by the hour, we're a full time football league side for goodness sake, he can't successfully coach a team that doesnt have regular access to a training facility!

You can see he's becoming increasingly frustrated having to try and develop his players in games and watch as they fail to implement his brand of football as successfully as he'd like. He recruited early and stressed the importance of working with a group from day 1, it seems to me that he doesn't believe the squads anywhere near where it should be in terms of shape, decision making or game management, why.. as he sees it they've just not had enough time on a pitch to work it into them. If that's accurate it's not just worrying its a crying shame as the good work done to bring players in quickly in the summer has been undone.

I know the training has moved since Ian Evatt left but are the facilities worse? I thought we were moving so they would be improved? Certainly Evatt didn't moan about facilities when he was manager and he was a much better manager than Cooper will ever be. One thing I do know is that Evatt's National League team wouldn't have lost 6-0 against the side Villa put out tonight good though the young players were tonight! After watching all of Barrow's matches but also almost every Premier match on TV, I knew our chance of winning tonight was virtually non-existent. However, what the Villa youngsters showed was the defensive weakness that has been obvious in previous matches but has not been shown up so clearly as the opposition we play is just as limited as ourselves. As far as I was concerned tonight was purely about making some money and Saturday's match against Bristol Rovers is far more important.

I know every club isn't perfect.... but to come out on national TV and rant about facilities is abit unprofessional IMO, he has every right to be annoyed but tonight wasn't about that.... was about the support and putting in a good display. I don't know, we've never seem settled at all and the drama keeps rolling.

Very harsh that. Second half at Harrogate we were shite, other than that the majority of the time we look a lot better than last season already. It’s very annoying that at the start of the summer we appointed a proper manager, we were making signings on and off the pitch who really looked exciting, and would progress the club; and now (whether it is due to the lack of training facilities/physio completely or just plain bad luck as well) the injuries are really stacking up and hurting us. If we had everyone fit and added a striker we’ve got a very good starting 11 at the least, loads better than the team who lined up at the end of the season on that great run when Rob Kelly saved us

The mans a born winner and he expects where ever he is too live up too that. Maybe he thought if i say this in national telly the owners will pull the finger out. This team is miles better than last years squad. But we will crumble if this training ground is nt sorted. As for the hospitality manager that left good riddance after all the faff regarding draught beer and the fanzone being closed during the euros not fot for purpose.

People defended the club about standard lack of training facilities why ?

Evatt complained about the dangers of training on 4g surfaces , so it got changed , David Dunn then complained about the standards it got changed !, now we have a proven manager at this level , it beggars belief that once again we shot ourselves in the foot over training facilities, Mark Cooper is 100% right on this !
I know Paul Hornby said it`s going to be sorted but the damage to our squad ( with injuries ) is now the price we are paying for sorry Paul, Amateurish planning whoever thought the set up was ok should be held accountable for this.
If Mark Cooper leaves because of this and no investment in the squad when needed (now) then this will be a disaster , it`s like asking Lewis Hamilton to drive in this week`s grand prix and toto wolff telling him ,lewis about your car the brakes are dodgy and the gears aren`t functioning properly!

The CEO should be questioning WHY after all this time Mark Cooper is stilled Pi***d off with this!

Whatever the rights or wrongs - and I daresay there are some on both sides - a manager should not be going on radio and national television and blaming the board - who are his employers. Any disputes should be kept in house.

Previous managers have always said - I'm the manager - the buck stops with me. But not Mr. Cooper it seems. It's anyone's fault but is.

He's already lining yup his excuses for Saturday - training facilities - only 12 fit players etc.

If that comes over to the players and it must be doing - we may as well give up now.

Stop whining Mr. Cooper and do the best with the facilities you have - no matter how bad you believe them to be.

Think we need to cut Coops some slack for 3 reasons:

1. This is how he is
2. The training situation is an absolute shambles
3. His dad died a couple of weeks ago - his emotions are still probably all over the place

Agree with this. There is obviously a disconnect when Hornby has said, and written, that Cooper is happy with the training arrangements that Hetherington has put in place when clearly he is not. Calling out your employer on local radio and national (international) TV is most unprofessional and disrespectful. There's a time and a place but last night on TV and radio wasn't it. Cooper's public criticism of his employer is unforgiveable.

One thing you do get from Mark Cooper in his interviews is brutal honesty. Give me that any day over over a person trying to pull the wool over our eyes!

That's a complete load of bollox................I think we saw last night what's been coming to a head for a while. Mark Cooper has a good coaching record behind him and I don't think he will tolerate being made to look anything other than the winner he really is.
You can see its in the mans nature-he wont put up with this crap much longer if the board don't act quickly, and I mean quickly.
