No way back for Josh Kay turned us down and won`t be offered anything, don`t mess with Pete Wild.

Full of praise for Iain Wood. Got 95% of the people they've gone after. Wanted more experience plus young, hungry individuals. 2/3rds of squad know what it takes to get promoted.
First challenge - top half then see where we are in February
Squad needed freshening so content that Brough wanted to look elsewhere. Offers for Gordon in January. Door closed on Kay, not coming back. - he was made an offer, didn't accept; that's it.
Gotts has pulled calf so not trained.
Training facilities an upgrade on last year and good relationship with FC United.
Says we are a small squad this year so players need to be tough. Wants 2 more in then might be a couple out plus a couple of loans if they're good enough that we can give them regular games.

Really great interview with Pete Wild.Laid his cards on the table regarding Josh Kay,saying there is no way they would welcome him back despite the fact that he still did not have a club to go to.He said that ship has sailed and he had had his chance.I really liked the way he described the plans in place such as the B team for moving the club forward and also that they were aiming for promotion this season.A really positive interview.
