Temp/perm stands

Something in the mail today about us getting funding to make the two new stands permanent…..couldn’t read it though cos of constant pop ups and access to it. Anyone know more without needing the mails stupid site?

The word temporary has been taken out to describe the stands, thus making Barrow compliant with EFL regulations. It's good news.

It’s an awful headline (expected these days from them) designed purely for clicks. Basically just saying we can carry on using the “temporary” stands as actual stands

The original planning application described the stands as temporary. Due to that wording the EFL were holding back on payment to the club. The club had to apply to have the wording changed and add cladding to the outside of the new stands so cosmetically they look permanent. Westmorland and Furness planning authority have granted and agreed Barrow AFC submitted request and plans, Bit of a hiccup but all sorted now is how I read it

I have a suspicion that the Newsquest web sites' headlines are generated by an algorithm; clearly not by a person who has read the articles.
