Re: Wrexham away
800 Total?
Most other clubs took more including Morecambe.
So is it the first offering & if we sell that we get more?
No idea if we need more, just thinking out loud really

Can’t see us being given anything other than the bare minimum. It’s not like they’re struggling to sell home tickets after the fairy tail Take overmickmike wilson wrote: ↑Mon Nov 27, 2023 8:51 pm 800 Total?

How many supporters will we get to go to Wrexham? When Morecambe played them it was a normal weekend.I just hope it doesn,t deter people from going because it,s New Years Day.I would love to see an upset at their ground in front of a large group of Bluebird supporters. It will be tough, but I think for once Pete Wild and his Merry Men can create one.Come on the Bluebirds.

I was just wondering why they offer different clubs different amounts, that’s all.bhbb wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2023 9:34 ammickmike wilson wrote: ↑Mon Nov 27, 2023 8:51 pm 800 Total?

Re: Wrexham away
Probably the demand from home fans Mike.
We all know attendances are up at holiday times and if they can sell them to home fans they will do.

Makes me wonder if we'll even sell out our allocation of 800? I believe the Bluebirds Trust are only running 3 coaches = 150 approx. I checked out Rail Enquiries and noticed there's 3/4 changes there and back - and it's all via Bus! And it'd be a hell of rush to catch the last one after the game. That'll surely put plenty of fans off traveling.

There are a couple of fanzone type options very close to the ground which welcome away fans. The main option is across the road and has both inside and outside bars and food.Lancaster Branch wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2023 10:19 am Morecambe got 1165 in their first allocation

Re: Wrexham away
Wrexham fan here. Great season for you guys. Regarding the game at our place, the usual away allocation is just shy of 1200, that's the top and bottom of away section of the Lager Stand. Every club to visit so far, exept Salford, have sold out. The 800 someone mentioned is the top, if you look like selling them, I assume you'll get the bottom aswell, thats about 400 more. As for pre-match drinks, away fans are welcomed at every pub, and there are plenty. Plas Coch, on the retail park as you come in, is probably the nearest, The Maesgwyn opposite the ground, also close by, and away fans welcomed there. No drinks sold in the ground, so be aware. Our remaining tickets, not the S/T holders, went on sale today, and sold out in two minutes, all on line, so depending how many you sell, a 10,000 crowd expected.

Good to know - I was out for a few sherbets on Saturday night and some returning Crustaceans said they’d been turned away from a few places as they were home fans only.BarrowCymro wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2023 10:56 pm As for pre-match drinks, away fans are welcomed at every pub, and there are plenty. Are the Wrexham tickets available as a download (PDF document) to print out?
The reason I ask is because I had trouble entering Lytham Festival last summer when my phone ran out of juice.

Re: Wrexham away
When you visit The Racecourse in January, we'll have a four sided ground, for the first time in sixteen years.! A 2289 capacity temporary stand will be erected on the Kop end of the stadium, similar to Gillingham. Work is well underway, to be used for the first time against Newport County on December 23rd. This will increase the capacity to over 12500. The reason for this temporary structure, various issues have surfaced with the planned new Kop stand, and with every game a sell out, this will ease the problem of fans being unable to buy tickets. There, a bit of useless information for you. See you on New Years Day, hope your tickets for this, are selling well.
