Re: Allotment of Shares?
If there's been an allotment of shares, he has invested money into the company - probably in line with the comments about how the floodlights will be funded. This is different to a loan and marks a change in the way the business has been financed before from what I can see. He seems to be separating...

Re: Paul Turnbull
Ok, but I think this is the last player we should 'lose' as I would now like to see the line up for the first game of the season as follows: Dixon X, Diarrah, X, Anderton Burress?, ARH, X, X Bennett, Harrison This means we have retained six 1st choice players and (hopefully) strengthened in the 'X'...

Re: Losing a bit of love
We just need to wait and see what will happen. Next season will be key both on and off the field. If nothing changes by the end of next season then i think the fans are entitled to question the owner on his intentions at the very minimum. How on earth can anyone question Paul Casson's intentions. H...

Re: Jordan Williams
Whilst it is slightly concerning that key players are moving on, let's just see what happens in the next few months. If we manage to replace those that go with players who are just as good, if not better, than great. However, I think one of the key problems from last season was having a big enough s...

Re: Kit manufacturer
If that's the case why would Walkers waste money on sponsoring football shirts if it didn't generate some form of return? You've contradicted your original stance. I think you'll find that Walkers had a huge sponsorship deal with Leicester - including the naming of the stadium. I haven't contradict...

Re: Paul Cox Hartlepool
I guess what I struggle with is the strange reaction the club has to a few comments on a football forum. Jokes have been made in the past about the club reacting to things that are suggested on this site - especially around social media and the website. Whether a statement should have been made or ...

Re: Paul Cox Hartlepool
So...if it was unnecessary, why did they actually do the statement? It should have been unnecessary. They put one out because speculation had descended into farce. You know this though. I guess what I struggle with is the strange reaction the club has to a few comments on a football forum. Jokes ha...

Re: Paul Cox Hartlepool
Not sure if you realised, or you are choosing to ignore it. Paul Cox went to speak to potential new employers to discuss a potential new job. That in itself creates more questions about his willingness to be involved if a bigger club wants to take him on and pay the price ( which Casson has now pub...

Re: Paul Cox Hartlepool
Oh wait, it all turned out to be nonsense? Who could have predicted that... The only details in the public domain about the meeting Cox had with Hartlepool say it was "brief" (BBC Radio Cumbria), that Hartlepool quickly withdrew interest (everyone), and that Cox had very little interest i...

Re: Paul Cox Hartlepool
Paul's Statement. Yesterday there were several news stories concerning the employment status of our manager Paul Cox. There was never a scond thought he was leaving and so for me it was all much ado about nothing. Hartlepool acted correctly and asked permission to speak to him concerning their mana...
