Re: Safe
Let's not forget that Southend and Grimsby will probably be playing for their lives in their remaining games, or at least until staying up is mathematically impossible

Re: Barrow v Morecambe match thread
Gotta love Chris Lumsden: "Technically we (Carlisle) are 9th but we shouldn't be 9th". OK, technically Barrow are 23rd but we shouldn't be 23rd. Quite right, Barrow should be 24th on performances like this, and that's precisely where we will be from March 16th (or whenever we play Grimsby...

Re: Josh Kay
Unfortunately he seems to be getting more and more of a liability these days
I wonder how much of the Bradford City incident (and subsequent FA charge) was down to him
Perhaps a few games on the bench or not being selected, and he might get the message that all this petulance is just not acceptable

Issue 14 (November 1992) of Give 'em Beans probably the last time the full title was mentioned, unless anyone knows different

Re: Jamie Devitt
Radio Cumbria (James Phillips) was asking tonight "Is Jamie Devitt the biggest signing Barrow have ever had". He is highly rated by them on his performances for Carlisle. Just to clarify, is all this talk about "biggest" player due to him being perceived as the best, the most hi...

Re: January Transfer window
Grant Holt : a good player the first time he was at Barrow in 2001 - 2003, but way past his best when he came back in 2017 (and 14 years older, let's not forget)

To be fair to the OP, Diarra does mention his time at Barrow in the interview

Re: Tranmere & Exeter (next week)
Even half the Tranmere supporters at the game that day missed the win as they had given up the ghost and were on their way back to the coach Simon Grand made it 2 - 1 in the 82nd minute and Andy Cook sealed it 3 - 1 in the 87th minute. 90 minutes played with 5 minutes added time, so I left the grou...

Re: Barrow v Salford match thread
Most people seem to agree that putting the ball in the net is the biggest concern this season. So one question that should be asked by our SLO is what happened to Dmitri Sea, who was brought in as a young striker and is not used, why not if Quigley or Angus fail to score on a regular basis. No harm...

Re: EFL Bailout
Hopefully if the grants are monitored correctly, it would prevent the sort of scenario mentioned by the Colchester chairman.
Presumably there will be measures to prevent clubs from misusing grant money

Re: Sack Dunn
Thinking outside the box .................. Maybe Josh Lillis or Sam Hird should be offered a caretaker manager role Of the 13 league points we have acquired so far this season, eight of them came in the four games between October 20th and 31st (Bolton, Walsall, Mansfield and Bradford). Is it any co...

We have a better goal difference than them, so we might be in with a chance
Morecambe 0-1 Barrow (Quigs)
