As an EFL club I thought it should of been 3 up as the gap was so small in terms of good teams. Now we are back in non-league i don't think so. Taking Boreham Wood out of the equation the standard of football across the league is very poor. That still leaves a play off place for another club even t...

Know your limits !!! Post Fri Aug 07, 2026 5:40 pm Please note my post from August 7th before a ball or player was kicked in anger. I really like the new aggressive style of the new manager My only reservation is that the players understand the limits you can go in being aggressive but not stepping ...

Are you aware of the term contracted to perform as instructed.
If you can't do your job to the standards required you will be replaced.

The club should do what any business would do in these circumstances and give the worst most boring jobs they legally can like cleaning properly footballers boots, make them turn up for training and work them hard so they really don't want to be there. If they don't turn up fine them and make them d...

I really like the new aggressive style of the new manager My only reservation is that the players understand the limits you can go in being aggressive but not stepping over the line and seeing red. Now I might have to have a few beers to figure that out!!!

Having read blue blue boys belief that our team didn't celebrate goals, I wonder does it really make a difference. When you see a very average save from the keeper pushing the ball for a corner or a defensive tackle producing the same and the defenders high giving each other for basically doing thei...

Well said and with feeling!

Wow I really am in awe of the superior football knowledge on here, not only do some who themselves have never been in a professional football club dressing room but know what it takes to be successful but others know in advance of a single ball being kicked that the new manager who incidentally you ...

No replay goes to pens

It's on BBC sounds radio cumbria now

It has occurred to me that as Stanway started his football career as a centre back, we might have a bit of a gem here. He obviously has the build and stamina to perform at this level as a goalkeeper so could he not be coached to play centre back and either play in that position if needed or be a sup...
