A football cv? Is that a way of saying applicants should be qualified to do the job, or are they expecting cvs written on footballs rather than paper?

In the Evening Mail now about Lowe. This could be a good move for us, considering that he's had successes with other teams with less money in the same league.

read his twitter feed. The man lives and breathes football particularly in NW non-league circles. Appears to be at a different game every day. Particularly like one comment he made after one game (Curzon Ashton I think). 'Impressed by a couple of their players - add that to the memory bank'

Gary Lowe would do for me, but his remit must just be rather bizarrely: ‘To play attractive attacking football and don’t get us relegated or promoted’. Its Catch 21 and a bit of a poisoned chalet when you think about it.
We will foller the soccer, over land and sea...

Former Everton, Sunderland, Aston Villa and Bolton player and England International Gavin McCann has resigned as assistant manager at Hyde today, could there be a connection with our vacancy. McCann has been running his own football academy on the Fylde Coast since 2008 and has been first team coach at Hyde since May 2012.

Therefore it is true they have applied then we should be looking no further than this duo. Lots of experience and have done it before with Hyde. My choice would always be someone with credentials who is aware of the club's past and more to the point it's potential with a decent side.
Getting promoted again quickly would be pointless.

The next appointment needs to be a long term appointment who will be given time to change the way the club is run with a view to developing our own players.

Getting another manager from 100+ miles away will not break the cycle we have been in for as long as I can remember.

Now is the time to change direction, not to just carry on like we always have.
so your choice is Edmonson.Sorted then.Nice one Reg!Lowe is the man for me.

And why not with a decent cv like his?

Agreed about the CV but it depends how big a budget he and his sidekick and agent expect.

Surely Lowe will be a non starter as money will be required for his agent and we haven't got any!

Exactly!

Once again people are getting carried away with expectations that if fulfilled will lead to monetary disaster.

We have to live in the present and the future - not the past!
