Re: Talk sport now
Blink and you missed it! Should be able to listen again. Was very lighthearted but no press is bad press.

Re: Talk sport now
They do a feature called getting to know you, ask a bit about the club history etc.
A bit jokey, had a bit of banter about the lack of pies. good stuff.

I believe my comment was "our lack of pies means we should be thrown out of the entire footballing pyramid"

Re: Talk sport now
Don't think you did us any favours really, you pretty much portrayed us as a struggling run down 1950s club, you missed the chance to highlight the work being done and the investment being made to push us on.bizzare really.

We've got two, iirc. We also engaged a PR company for the launch of the Casson era. BoxedOff, based in Liverpool.barrowfan wrote:Just listened to this and...yeah.

Re: Talk sport now
Not arsed about pies at the game me.
Sometimes will get a burger, usually crap. If i got a pie, would probably be crap.
I reckon the people who are arsed about pies get one from wherever before the game and eat it or take it in. No biggie.

It seems to be an area that needs sorting.Lancaster Branch wrote:We've got two, iirc. We also engaged a PR company for the launch of the Casson era. BoxedOff, based in Liverpool.barrowfan wrote:Just listened to this and...yeah.

What it needs is one point of contact and that name should be known to everyone rather than the haphazard system we seem to have now.

Re: Talk sport now
It can become 'a biggie' if the availability of quality pies contributes positively to the 'matchday experience' and in so doing, creates more income and a profit centre for the club.Steeley wrote:
