A brilliant flick on from young Stoker and Meikle's shot is superbly saved by the Bury keeper!

Well who would have expected a six goal thriller tonight? The 331 spectators have enjoyed this game.

Caught most of the commentary, smooth fellas, smoooth!!
Good run out for the fringe & returning players, Hannah's HT Shirley will have him fired up now & gives Coxy a good selection headache.

Also some promise shown by the U-18 lads which is marvelous for them & the club.

Even a solid attendance tonight, D'Ream, Things can only get better :D :scarf:

Thoroughly enjoyable night. Some nice football played by a young Bury side and at times in the 1st half they had us chasing the ball. We got to grips better in the 2nd half, all the young lads did well in patches.

Great to see hannah hitting the net again, and he worked his socks off as usual. Murray solid and Miekle busy, ARH looked a bit off the pace and AH bar a few bits and pieces looked out of sorts.

Wright looks a good prospect, pick of the side tonight bar Hannahs hat trick

Dixon is by far a better keeper than Coughlin on this showing.

Much better fiver spent than staying at home and watching that other shower of shite on TV!!

Also thought ARH was saving himself a little, he allowed the Bury number four far too much space as he was the one everything good came through in the first half, the number seven was lively also!

Apart from Ross Hannah who scored a couple of beauties as well as not giving the keeper a chance with a well executed penalty. Callum Fawcett worked hard as did Euan Murray and Akil Wright settled in well advancing forward a lot more second half.

Good entertainment but a poor second goal that we conceded.

Thanks for all of the positive comments regarding our coverage tonight. We estimate that approximately 65 fans tuned into the live stream, in addition to the patients, staff and visitors at Furness General Hospital, who get the commentary direct from our super fast Tieline Commander G3 Codecs these days, thanks to the generous donation from the National Lottery.

The interest shown for this game from AFC fans around the world makes us feel that it is worth all of the time and the effort to cover these Cup competitions, which do not attract the attention of BBC Radio Cumbria. We do not wish to compete with our friends at RC. We will therefore only consider broadcasting future Cup games on our internet stream whenever the local BBC station is not providing this service.
