Floodlights

It appears there was a problem in the electrical room, this was due to be looked in to today by a local company. We don't think the problem is anything to do with the floodlights themselves, mainly the circuitry.

It was really dark in the corner by the traffic lights but that was not the only issue Ian.
Sat in the stand when it went dark in the second half a lot of the lights on the new pylon were shining directly into the grandstand and not down on the pitch.
People were having to shade their eyes.
The lux levels in some areas of the pitch are surely not upto permitted levels.
I don't think that would be a circuitry problem.
Maybe some lights moved in the strong winds.

I'll mention the lights shining into the stand, although I have a feeling, well more than a feeling because I was there the other week when they were moving the lights you mention. There were areas of the pitch towards the Asda gate that weren't covered properly by the lights (people have mentioned this on here recently) This was caused by strong winds over the last year or so moving them slightly - it sounds like they've gone a bit too far though.

Like I say, I'll mention it and get the answer put up on here asap, it obviously needs sorting.

The problem with those bulbs was fixed the day after the Southport game so all good to go for Lincoln

Regarding Kens question of them shining directly into the main stand, I passed that on the other day and they're going to take a look on Tuesday.
Actually Ken, if you (or anyone else they're affecting) let me know where you sit I'll pop up on Tuesday evening and see which ones they are and I'll let the club know.

It was on Monday after the Matlock game they were done. I will blame that on the fact it was dark by full time on Saturday making me think it was a night match. I'm not used to it being dark so early

BT Sport Scaffolding up on the Wilkie Stand, hope it isn't a wasted journey for them and the Reservoir Corner Lights have been fixed. Could do with a few bulbs replacing in the other pylons, I cannot see it happening though.

The Reservoir Corner pylon had 7 lights on the main structure and 2 lower down all fixed and working on Monday. Everything will be fine!
