Just because there are less of us, does that make those that are there less good fans or less deserving of success?

This is one of our furthest trips, apart from Gateshead, and so will probably be one of if not our lowest turn out. We don't get big crowds, but we don't really have a large catchment area to draw them from. Our home average is over 1700 this season, which isn't that bad imo.

Barrow attendances are nothing to write home about for a team challenging for a top 5 spot. For what it's worth there were also a few in the stand so nearer 50 I'd say and all got behind their team. Sometimes we come across as being nothing short of bitter when you read this sort of guff.

Anyone who has been to FGR knows that they make their crowd numbers up. Our recent visits there have had hugely inflated numbers. I presume to get the move to the new stadium they have to demonstrate a certain level of support.

I'm no expert, but as a VAT registered company, surely it would be counter-productive to over inflate when it comes to ticket sales?

Possibly not to an owner with deep pockets who needs to meet certain criteria to make a long term move happen. Our whole support burst out laughing when the crowd was announced at our game at your place this season.
