My missus, one of those kinds of people who tries to contribute to football discussion but annoyingly falls short of substance, says to me after that result "How can the players be expected to perform to their best with all the managerial unrest going on? The people behind the scenes need to take a long look at themselves!!"

It's not going to change overnight need a new Manager in.
We need to get a decent centre forward white not up to it,Bauress poor.
Not sure why Dixon replaced Moore who did nothing wrong but was dropped so hopefully a change will be made when we play Chester
A new Manager will have to be given funds to buy a decent centre forward, midfielder and centre half.
Maybe a centre half or midfield player Manager

He had a free header today from 5 yards out that he put straight at the keeper. The absolute only reason he's paid a wage is to get on the end of simple chances like that and put them away but he's not doing it. He's shite.

Pre match ratio Cumbria were slagging off Barrow fans for having a go at club officials at games, but whatever your view and whats right and wrong if you spend a lot of money and effort travelling up and down the country frustrations boil over.

No doubt trying to justify their own very bad error of judgement inviting Paul Casson to be involved in the commentary last week.

If they hadn't invited him, those comments would never have gone out on air, and their ill-conceived decision also deprived listeners of hearing from someone who actually knows something about football!

The longer it takes to appoint a manager, the number of games he has to turn it around lessens. By now I would liked to have hoped that three (decent ones I hope) managers would’ve been shortlisted for interviews while the rest of the CVs would’ve been binned, you could even say interviews should be taking place already.

A hasty ill advised knee jerk appointment WILL take us down, Need to get this one right & who’s to say they haven’t started interviewing as the various articles suggest they have.

If they had done the job right in the first place ( advertise it, interview ).
We probably wouldn't be in this predicament !

Well if you broadcast from a park bench in the middle of the fans what do you expect.

Wasn't at the game so wasn't aware of the circumstances, but my point was about RC choosing to use Paul Casson for their programme. Interview him at some stage before of after, but to have him involved as he was, was ridiculous.

However, the football is shite and 7th isn't good enough.

Why keep sticking things like that in.....he was never going to stay! He wanted away and he's gone, and not for the reasons some would have you believe.

The plot thickens but isn't going away. He was the best manager we've had in a long time and the board/chairman should've done more to keep him.

Nah!! Jordan White looks like a player going through the motions at the minute, he's not on his own as there's a couple in midfield also treading water. We need players to stand up and be counted. Put the effort in and they will be duly praised anything less will be rightly criticised.

I disagree that Cox was the best manager in a long time because look at the turmoil that’s been left after him. He could have stayed and seen the season out,left the team a lot more settled, left on a good note with all our appreciation but he never. He was looking to go as soon as the Hartlepool job interview, he goes wherever he starts and sometimes finishes something. This team now, even with key parts missing has the potential to get wins but they as us need optimism given to them. Can Hornby do that? I don’t know but he’s what we’ve got probably until Xmas. We can’t all shout for the team away buts let’s get behind then at home

Cox was a good manager - pounds per points probably not one of the best - stuff happened we can only guess and speculate but he's gone he is history.

Move on - let's get behind the next boss let's get rid of those that want to go and let's do what we best as fans and get behind the team

A new manager will be in place after the Aldershot game , giving him two weeks to work with the players
