Yes there is plenty of uncertainty in regards to what path the club are going down and what the future holds. But we won't be going down any Creek anytime soon if Paul Hornby and others are given our full support in whatever guise that eventually becomes.

The club just need to stabilise this season take stock and plan accordingly. If it's sustainable to remain in this league and I hope it is then all well and good, but if the powers that be decide we need to regroup in the league below then I would be fully behind that.

I don't think our full support will count a jot, Mark.

Today's game, even Non-League Football, is all about money - BIG money! And without any disrespect to Mr. Hornby and future company I don't think he/they will have the big bucks that's required to make this club a formidable presence in the National League. I can honestly seeing us becoming a National League North outfit - maybe not such a bad thing - less traveling, a lower wage bill and if we're playing good football and winning at home, bigger gates!

Of course our support matters Mike, without us there's nothing and no point going on.
Financially we may have a small impact, that matters greatly in the grand scheme of things and it's up to all of us to do our little bit in some shape or form by pulling together.
Other investors ultimately will decide our fate and I agree it doesn't come cheaply but I think the net will be cast far and wide to ensure we survive as a force to be reckoned with for some time yet.

Aye, there’s plenty like that. I know folk with a ‘life’ season ticket who still pay every game. And exiles who buy an ST and use it once or twice.

There’s a thing for our army of exiles to consider...buy an online ticket for the Eastleigh game. Even if you can’t go. £13...that’s a mere two pints for our Southern contingent.

A corporate kids club for the younger ones! Make a room specifically for them so parents can enjoy their day without having to watch the little uns!
Have players meet them, bluey doing games and competitions that have half decent prizes..shirts, scarfs etc
Kids grub and pop etc, maybe even PlayStation's and Xboxes for the slightly older kids?

Dave is my best friend in Barrow and was best man at my wedding. We go back 56 years when we first played for Hawcoat Methodist Youth Club U18 team which subsequently became British Legion Open Age team and that's exactly the sort of thing he does. Incidentally, he voted against the Casson takeover because he believed it might jeopardize the long-term future of the club.

if we don't do the a ticket deal surely a community based event after the match would be a step in the right direction.

i totally agree with henneysknee regardless of state of ground we are useless at promotion and merchandising there was some excellent work done by the trust earlier in the season to get new supporters then no follow up actions afterwards.

to put it into context i have already bought my ticket online for Solihull away on 22nd dec yet i still can't buy a ticket for the next home match,

I love Gen Man's post here but these type of offers only work if its pushed very hard over a long period of time and ramped up enormously the week of the game, But everyone has to be on the same page, The ground needs to be clean & safe, A Beer tent up & fully stocked with several booze, Soft drinks, Hot drinks etc More choices & lots of tables & chairs, TV's Heaters etc, More food outlets in the ground & WORKING TOILETS without rivers of phish to wade through etc, Have a bad weather day plan, So there's an alternative for the non-diehards, Entertainment from 1 to 2/2.30 in the crossbar & a different act on from 6 to 7 etc.

A week after Casson's left, some media coverage or other took me to our website & also had me also trying to book home tickets just to give the club some cash.....NONE available.....So the club missed out again.....Everyone needs to do their jobs and communicate better so we can move forwards....NOTE....This is not a dig at anyone as the new peeps are barely into putting out the fires atm.

I'll send you a separate message anyway.. Ive only been to fyldes new ground once and Bromley away once on both occasions bought tickets online I get at least 2 emails a week from them, is this something we could do build up a database of email addresses when people buy online .

Yes as much as the comparison to Fylde is tiring you do receive a heck of a lot of promotional emails from them after buying tickets online which is how it should be done, different of course because they actually have various things on in the sports bar
