It might help the lads if some people got behind the team instead of constantly shouting at them that they’re useless - or words to that effect!

I’m just saying we don’t even win 50% of our home games. That’s not good enough to get into the playoffs anytime soon. Nothing to do with shouting at players. And anyway they should be able to deal with a bit of that.

I take your point about the results - they have not been good. You say the players should be able to deal with negativity - yes some of them will, but think how much better it would be for their motivation if people got behind them like they seem to do in away games.

Should be a big crowd.Our highest non league gate for a league game was back in 1990 against Darlington-4244. I doubt we will threaten that but does any Statto out there know our top 10 league gates since we left the football league? It would be nice to put the gate in context.Talking of records aren’t Hartlepool the only team to have had to apply for re-election to the football league more times than us?
