I would have thought with Dunns connection with Blackburn they would have come to Barrow.

That's what I was hoping but it seems the relationship was between Evatt and Blackburn not Barrow and Blackburn. It also seems that Bolton were in for Jordan Turnbull the out of contract central defender from Northampton but were beaten to him by Salford and following that news this was posted on the Bolton forum "reliable source says we have a centre back due in" Since then there have been a host of posts speculating that it's Matt Platt and, unfortunately, I'll be surprised if it isn't.

Yes seen that and the sarcastic comment about another one from the Barrow Buffet.
Let's hope we send them back to Bolton with Paxo.

Be good if Bolton do an AFC Fylde. Look good on paper but players don’t gel and they languish at the bottom of the table all season. Unlikely, but hope so.
I’m looking forward to the to Bolton games more then the Carlisle and Morecambe games now.

Bolton desperately need defenders.

They signed a central defender last week so hopefully they have a youngster to play alongside him. If it is common knowledge we have secured a loan deal for Platt then I fail to understand why it wouldn't have been announced when Bolton could announce the White loan signing today.

I think the person saying it was "common knowledge" was asking a question. I think Bolton have got to be favourites to sign him.

Anyone questioning why you'd sign for Bolton over Barrow, just read that back to yourself...

David dunn. Dunn used to be platts agent i believe so there's a strong connection there. I was told by platts mate that he would be going to blackpool or Bolton. Things change I guess. Matty platt is a blue to the best of my knowledge.

I think you misunderstood his post - he's saying Platt is signing for us not for Bolton - If he was signing for Bolton he would have been announced by them at the same time they announced White....

The pleasant security man at Asda is apparently a bit Barrow fan and says we have a signing that will excite us which will be announced soon.
