I hope this promise of "flexing the muscles" means whoever has all the money on the board is prepared to write off a lot of money, ditch the utter shite Dunn brought in as well as those who we already had who either aren't up to it or aren't interested and give someone with some knowhow the cash on top of that to recruit some proper footballers.

I remember saying that, after performances against FG and Cambridge, we looked a side capable of holding their own in mid table. It is still the same bunch of players, so I think much of the problem is in their heads. Perhaps there have been too many changes of players and formation, so the team just don't know where they are or what they are supposed to be doing. Then, of course, 5 or 6 defeats on the trot destroys confidence.

I was puzzled by the substitutions tonight. Quigley and Angus (despite the latter's frustrating lack of decent ball control) were causing some problems. Then reshuffling the defence was strange. As others have said, the most depressing thing was that, as soon as commentary said free kick in dangerous area, we just knew the goal was going to come.

I'd say our strongest 11 plus with the right tactics/formation would be ok but our squad players are so bad a few injuries and were absolutely f*****d

Just watched a shambles of a team. Embarrassing.

Was like watching a bunch of 12-year olds chasing the ball around the playground.

Even Platt has deteriorated.
His passing was terrible and why the long balls, especially to Angus who can't head a ball.

The team had no shape and no game plan that I could figure out.

If David Dunn was 'released', shouldn't his assistant Rob Kelly have gone with him?

Part of me wishes the EFL bailouts never came as we may have been saved by clubs folding. Horrible idea I know but it may have been our saviour at this rate.
