Doesn't matter who your playing against a foreword pass is a foreword pass , how many times do you see quigly shouting and pointing to where he wants the ball to be played only for the defender or midfielder to turn and play it sideways or backwards, half the time quigly plays out of position and puts passes in to where he should be because no one else can do it , we need some serious changes either in formation or players.

spot on i said exactly the same against tranmere Quigs ends up coming further back from where he should be Jolleys got a hell of a job on but he's got time against him plus he's got to convince players to come to a team just beaten by the bottom club good luck with that Michael.

Having just watched Crawley Town v Leeds,I just hope Michael Jolley was watching and noting how they played as a unit,a bit like Barrow were playing last season.That is what needs bringing back into the Barrow team unlike the disjointed play we are seeing at the moment where a lot of the players do not seem to know what to do with the ball.Crawley gave the impression that they were going all out to win and never slowed down at all.We definitely need some creative midfield players Crawley are a club which hasn't got a massive budget.If they can do it ,there is no reason why Barrow can't. The team needs to get that passion back which seems sadly lacking at the moment.

from memory i don't think Alex was with his brother Elliot at Bolton? Wasn't Alex at Preston?

No they were both definitely at Bolton until age 16 when they didn’t get offered a scholarship,both have spent time at other clubs trying to gain scholarships but they were both at Bolton for several years.

This gribbin nonsense the board have been made to look like fools by Dunn. Thinking he can bringing in better players than he could. Alarm bells should have rang there in the interview but we don't have a football experienced member on the board. They are great in many many other ways but truly had our kegs down. In the meantime we ve been left with what i would nt even see as sloppy seconds sloppy thirds. We ve just signed an extension on Taylor screams we are out off ideas. Hell the manager even has a contract that states if we go down he is off.

don't think you're giving Mark Hetherington much credit there , he's as knowledgeable as anyone of us , whatever what's done is done ( no punn intended) we've just got to pull out all the stops to get out of this nightmare, I personally couldn't contemplate getting relegated if we do deep down i know we'll never get back ( unless I win the euros )
as for jolleys contract just like you I haven't read it but I'd assume the get out clause is to help the club so if we did go down they could then decide whether to keep him or not , you're making out our board are not up to it, yes they made a massive mistake over Dunn but I'm so glad they're in charge and give them credit at least Hornby had the guts to admit their mistakes!

Already been mentioned on here about owner Mark Hetheringtons football experience, but how many clubs nowadays do have owners with football experience? Surely that’s the whole point in appointing someone such as Dunn with well other 20 years experience under various top managers, just didn’t work out as expected.
