Can’t think you could be more wrong as listen to rob Kelly how many times dose he bring dunny up ? I respect his opion over yours, I believe he needed more time and would of done the same job, my opinion

2 wins in 22. You don't get more time with that record. He just couldn't get the team winning. Kelly comes in and wins 2 on the bounce.

2007...Top ten finish including a EFL record of 9 consecutive wins without conceding a goal.
2008...Promotion and a Wembley visit.
2009...In the League 1 play off places before the club went into administration and he left.
2015...Returned to the club after a season managing 1874 Northwich in the North West Counties league taking them to the title and the FA Cup second round.
2019... Stockport gain promotion to the National League and win at League 2 Yeovil Town in the FA Cup.
2020...A 2-1 win at League 1 Rochdale in round 2 of the FA Cup.
2021...Sacked as certain players thought he was too much a disciplinarian.

I am a Stockport County fan and would like to offer my congratulations to Barrow upon their achievement this season. Hope to be visiting Holker Street next term with my lot. My last visit was season 1966/67 the year we both won promotion.

I was at the match if I remember correctly you had some tall lads and Barrow applied all sorts of pressure but we lost 1-0 Happy Days

Yes it was 3-0 ,I know it's a age thing but I remember when Northampton got to the First Division riding through all divisions

Yes, I was at that Swindon game. I cycled from Seascale but got stuck in the snow and had to get on the train at Kirby. It was a minor miracle that the game got played. Rogers scored in the 1-1 game the previous season, a last minute equaliser.

Frank Lord was our leading scorer 6ft 2. Bill Atkins and Bert Lister backed him up. 2 big lads at the back Matt Woods and Eddie Stuart. Signed big Jim Fryatt later that year.

Some good info on that site. Looks like I was wrong about Rogers scoring in the 1-1 game - I remembered right about it being in the last minute though!
