Club to go to cashless payments

I myself tend not to bother at all if I have to wait 10/15 minutes in a line. Club has probably missed out on quite a few of my Pounds Sterling as a result.

So you decide on attending, Travel to the ground then go home and miss the game if there’s a queue??

Why not just turn up a bit earlier??

No I was thinking more for the food and drink at half time; I usually arrive bang on kick off, the queues are generally small to none existent by then.

So that £6 would have been lost to the club if you had not been there to help out. The club need every penny and should not be turning down any kind of income. I cannot believe they couldn't serve the Exeter fan. It really is insane turning down a sale.

Well done you good job you were there.

Yeah it’s only £6 but it all counts. Mad that the person serving couldn’t have just given them the programme and badge and put £6 on the side for today when we are “allowed” to take cash, just following the rules though I guess…

It isn't only the loss of £6 but the point being that person had travelled a round trip of over 600 miles and wanted some memorabilia of his visit. Might be a badge and/or programme collector and would have gone back home disappointed and with a poor impression of our club. Yes I expect these things are available to buy on line but unnecessary when there in person to purchase. Then there will be the added postage costs.
We can't rely on fans stepping in to bail the club out like this and shouldn't have to..

Seems somebody on the board is being obstinate. Two threads going about this with almost 300 posts on, most of them wanting a cash facility at the club.
The board says it listens to the fans but on this matter clearly not.

So a plea to the board - please allow cash to be taken at the club, or please explain why you won't. Thanks
