No you won't. You pay VAT due on the amount of declared VAT-able income.

If they did a VAT inspection they would or at least cross reference To the official attendance and the supporting records showing how the declared income was arrived at based on who attended

And why not. We might as well be as tinpot as the others who can't create an atmosphere without the need for a drum. Old style supporters with strong voices and locally composed songs have gone now.
The HS end have made an attempt of late but yes, drown them out with a drum. Should sound good.

Last two trips I've made - Accrington and Bradford, both sets of home supporters had a drum. I think it might have something to do with a post-lockdown obsession with needing to make noise. Must admit the first time I heard it my initial thought was "how very 70s" but it would seem as if the art of tub thumping is alive and well in the EFL.

My other thought was that if anybody tries to bring a large bass drum into Old Trafford, Anfield or Stamford Bridge these days the article would be x-rayed, locked away and the carrier intimately body searched.
