If we reach our quota of 1500 tickets for the Carlisle game,is there any way the club can get Carlisle to release any more tickets?With the game not being until 13Nov I can see a lot more people wanting to go to this game having already sold 1100 tickets to date according to a post on here.

Would the demand be there to make it worthwhile opening another stand for Carlisle? If we sold out by this weekend that might be different but at the moment there’s still 400 tickets available so anyone who wants one can get one

Presuming early ticket sales are for in the away section of the East Stand, which the majority of seats are not even in-line with the goal line! If sales get towards 2000, they may open the Peterril End, which is usually reserved for when there is a large away following.

That end doesn't have a safety certificate though I don't believe, so how could they open it?

But it was always opened when they played Leeds or Preston or other northern teams who brought a good following, who for whatever reason had a “rivalry” with them, and brought more than the off-set away section in the East Stand can hold. The sub-standard viewing position of that section ruins the away day for me.

You will not get any standing tickets in the Petteril End, as it doesn't have a safety certificate (and hasn't for a few years), unless they can miraculously find one from now until the game.

The Waterworks End does have a safety certificate

The maximum capacity since any major work was last done is 18,202 which definitely includes the 1700 in the Waterworks the operational capacity this season is 17,949 which is approximately 250 less than that which I believe is down to the work done to provide extra disabled viewing areas.

My guess is if you sell what you have you.ll get approx another 200 tickets which will be made up of allowing occupation of the next two vertical rows of seats up to the netting and some of the obstructed view seats in the corner.

They have clearly made the decision not to use the Waterworks [ or more likely were told not to by Cumbria Plod ] but on sales at the minute it does appear to have been the right decision.

But what i.d like to know is where are the other five and a half thousand who went to Sunderland ?

That was for a big club Northernsoul, sadly Carlisle is not one of those or ever will be again!

Need a result up there really. A loss and we will be looking over our shoulders, if it hasn't happened already. A few teams below us winning today. Frustrating as I believe we are good enough for mid table.
