Holker OB play five divisions below Barrow. Are you really suggesting the Walker could do a job in League 2 now? What's Andy Cook up to these days ;-)
Still scoring goals in League 2 for Bradford. As for the lower leagues argument remember a chap called Jamie Vardy playing for Stockbridge Park Steels ? In that respect how about Banbury striker Chris Wreh. Right pedigree (out of a Premiership striker) right age and knows where the goals are.Would benefit from full time training and better service and stated in a pre-match interview that he would like a crack at the EFL.Most of L2 will be looking for that elusive striker so I think we need to be thinking outside the box.

Wreh was awful! Moved like a tank and could barely control the ball. I'd hope we'd be looking at a higher standard than that.

Or a more proven player who's not getting a game currently and would benefit from getting game time a division or two down. I'm sure MC is considering all options.
One of Stockport's players in Wednesdays FA Cup Replay was on loan from Villa. A team mate of Dimitri Sea's. Both part of the Villa Youth Team who won the FA Youth Cup. A very talented team apparently, as they demonstrated at Holker Street.
Mr Cooper - start making enquiries.

James Norwood not getting games at Ipswich. Transfer listed and sure to leaving there in Jan. A player proven at this level. 29 goals in 45 games for Tranmere in L2.

This is the calibre of players we need to improve the team.
"To achieve anything and to get to the Football League, we have to expect to win every game. I've got to get everyone believing that we can, and I will work hard to embed that mentality into the players, the town, the board and whoever else” Ian Evatt.

Would be ideal and Zanzala / Sea would learn a lot from him.

I remember him scoring against us a few times in the past. Might possibly get a run out against us at Portman Road.
Ideal opportunity - whether he plays or not - for us to make initial enquiries.

As we are all speculating about a new striker in January which I think we all agree wanted to throw another name in,Ryan Edmondson from Leeds is set to have his loan at Fleetwood cancelled in January because of lack of game time, someone who had a good game against us in the papa johns, scored set one up by being too quick and strong for Joe Grayson good height and energy and the type of player that I’m sure Mark Cooper would love working with

Norwood too old at 31, though Edmondson at 20 might be the sort of “bargain” player we could do with.

In what way is 31 too old? Is 30 too old? How about 29? It's prime age for a striker. You wouldn't want Andy Cook or Jamille Matt in January?

It’s getting genuinely tough to decide which accounts on here are parody accounts these days

Yeah...I thought this after I'd replied. Hard to know if it was tongue in cheek or a genuine comment.

Barrowafc.net Legometer is very sensitive. The needle starts twitching once a player graduates from the U16 team.
