Very happy that Ollie has committed.

It strikes me that the advent of the January window is the first real time during a season when clubs and players begin to show their hands for the rest of the season and beyond.

I dont believe for one moment that Ollie is the only BAFC player for whom enquiries have been made and I suspect that there is more than one story simmering away. A number of our better plyers have contracts that expire at the end of the season and it would reasonable to assume that ideally the club would want to retain their better players. Clearly our position in the EFL is far from secure atm and this makes contract extension a bit risky. But if we dont see further extensions to contracts in the next couple of months I think it might say quite a lot about who may be here and who might not come next season.

Whilst its far too early to really speculate my gut suggests that a BAFC side under Mark Cooper next season would look significantly different to the current squad.
