Thanks for all the help today, probably a dozen down there purely on litter picking duties. First time I’ve been involved in this but it makes you realise what an absolutely fantastic job these people do, they must save the club a mini fortune….not only litter picked but separated into recycling items. That is a seriously hard & time consuming job.

The obvious ones are moving where the practice nets go pre-match (that’ll obviously be a club decision) or, attach posts & netting to the existing posts and wooden cladding. The problem with netting will be making it look right and not just something else to make another area of the ground look untidy.
Not having a go at maintenance lads but all these months later after the quoted post from last year another smack for someone off a stray ball today first aiders having to see to someone.
Same every week.
Been a full season of it now got mentioned after first game in August

I know Al, it was one of my mates who was hit and as he was wearing glasses he was very lucky the injury wasn’t worse that it was.
I will mention this once again to the club. It’s something that definitely needs sorting before someone gets seriously hurt.

Over the summer we’ll be taking orders for supporters plaques that will be displayed in the first section of the wooden fence in the fanzone (as in the picture)
If you would like one producing and putting on display can you get in touch with us either through here, text or e-mail - all we need is your design.

The cost per plaque will be £50 with all money raised going into the GMV kitty for ground improvements.

Is there a deadline Ian, or can you do them as and when?

Plenty of time Dave, I would hope to have them all in by the start of July. This is because Graphix Signs have always been very helpful to us and I don’t want to be giving them the orders in dribs & drabs.

A temporary solution to the stray balls going into the fanzone area, mainly during pre-match warm ups. This was a quick fix just for the Northampton game, the club will be looking into more permanent solutions during the summer.

Another view, the view people have as a ball heads their way as they’re trying to have a pint and a chat…

Hopefully this waives the suggested boycott of the fanzone!

Great work 👏
