I am sure the safety advisory group(SAG) of Cumbria County Council are fully aware what's going on. After all it was them that reduced the away capacity to 540 towards the end of last season and have now allowed it to go back to 640.

Reference to your comment concerning away capacity reduced to 540 towards the end of last season season, checking away attendances Carlisle was 612, Port Vale was 575 and Northampton was 575. So even if they was on a reduced away capacity, they have obviously ignored it. So maybe the stewards were right in what they said.

FFS suffolf blue bradford is a premier league ground be something wrong if it isnt better than barrows ground we are on the up in all respects of bafc just leave it to the professionals to do there job.
We only have so much money its not a sprint long and slow wins the race lets all just be patient and stop moaning about everything thats going on behind the scenes and just support our brilliant team on the pitch

No I didn’t I don’t believe everything I’m told and if we keep having to mention the academy fiasco it was embarrassing, shouldn’t have offered places etc then pulled the plug at the last minute. I am happy for mistakes to happen just don’t try and justify them by blaming others, no point in going around in circles let’s hope things improve.

I’m struggling getting my head around how if someone questions something club related they are classed as having an “agenda” or are involved in some sort of “smear campaign”…surely people are allowed to ask legitimate questions and not be accused of either (or more) of the above.

And in reply to Bombadel, it’s not only “what happens on the pitch that counts” not by a long way. There are many things that contribute to the running of a successful football club.

Exactly Ian, You have to be good off the pitch too, and of course it matters.
800k to 1M projected loss this season. Reckon we have alot of work to do to be successful off it.
5 league games in and a fantastic start for the owners and Squad but we are miles behind being self financing or getting close to it.

You can't sell more than the SAG says, which btw includes our Head Steward and our Police Liaison Officer before we start throwing accusations around. The SAG initially was fine (I know, I was there) with the 662 but when inspected (they send someone to the game) the use of the corner to stand on was felt to be unsafe as there aren't sufficient barriers and we struggling to stop folk standing there. Therefore, capacity was reduced. The wall was brought level with the Main Stand and the offending area was blocked off. Then the SAG recalculated the capacity to what it is now.

Indeed they are & when things like this happen why o why doesn’t the club just explain it to clarify then we would get several pages of conjecture & BS rumours then finally we get told, Just tell us & save on the forum drama…Just my view.

Agreed. We have had one or two occasions when complaints on this forum have forced a 'clarification' by those who put sparse - or even incorrect - info on the official website.

A FAN who is accused of invading the pitch during a League Two match will appear before magistrates.

Callum Walker, of Avondale Road, Bradford, is accused of contravening sections 4 and 5 of the Football (Offences) Act 1991.

Court documents say that the 21-year-old went onto the playing area 'without lawful excuse' at Holker Street on August 6 - the day that Barrow played Bradford in the league.

He is due to appear at South Cumbria Magistrates Court on Thursday, September 1.
