Evans should have been sent to prison and banned from football for life after what went on at Boston IMO http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/5412612.stm

Plenty of clubs playing tomorrow night or at lunchtime on Saturday; it was a contingency incase England played at 3pm on Saturday. Can’t do right for doing wrong sometimes, imagine the moaning if we hadn’t moved it and it clashed with England playing

Stevenage 2v0 Barrow
Majority of games in our league are kicking off at 3 on Saturday, as should we be.A friend of mine from Knebworth informed me weeks back that this fixture change was down to Steve Evans, a typical tactic by him, have us sat on a bus for hours, out of our normal Saturday routine. As for the England conundrum, I for one would watch Barrow over England, any day of the week.
Come on, admit that you made up the Knebworth friend - you just looked on google maps for the nearest place to Stevenage that people might have heard of.

There are 5 games in League 2 kicking off at 3pm on Saturday. There are 8 games in League 2 not kicking off at 3pm on Saturday
In League 1, only one match is kicking off at 3-00pm on Saturday.
6 are playing Friday night, 3 kicking off at 12-30 and one game at 1-00pm Saturday.
The other match is at 12-30pm on Sunday.
So only 6 of the 24 matches in both leagues decided not to move their kick off time.

Simple maths:- more league 2 games are being played at 3pm on Saturday (5) but the MAJORITY (7) are being played at other times.

As a matter of interest does anyone know when the team are travelling down ? With the side based in Manchester I’m presuming they will travel down on the day and come straight back. We’re probably more likely to have an overnight stay for the early Carlisle kick off the following Saturday.

The interview with Pete wild in the link below talks about travel arrangements for stevenage plus he talks about possible sightings in January.

Yes its going to be tough after all they are second in the league. Watched them on TV last Saturday and they were typical Evans type of team. Big, strong and physically challenging with some pretty skillful players up front. I thought they looked good so its a great challenge for us. As far Evans' "dark arts" I'm certain our management team are well aware of that. I can imagine Wild is no angel either!

This is a meeting of the 2 best home records in the division, unfortunately we are away from home, Evans love or hate him is a fantastic motivator, we will lose here and hopefully move on to Christmas period unscathed. What does make me laff, is the pampering of modern day footballers even at this level, a hotel at lunchtime, for a sleep, FFS it’s pathetic.

Steve Evans is what you might call a “character”. There is very little he wouldn’t do to gain an advantage. My favourite recent story concerns his first scheduled game as Stevenage coach which you may recall occurred at a time when they were in some peril (as were we). He clearly didn’t want to play their fixture before he could get his hands on his new squad. So by some querk of fate a dozen or so of his squad suddenly came down with COVID overnight thus giving him a ten day respite whilst others played on.

He’s a great manager unfortunately. If he wins tomorrow he’ll be as generous and gracious as you like. He does not like losing however.

Is trick question??

How can 5 out of 12 be a majority??

Please tell me.

I can't work it out.

Less than 50% is a.majority??

It isn't me is it. I know basic Maths.

Surely if he was a time traveller we would have already lost.
