I do understand why people are reluctant to take the plunge but in my view the current stadium is a millstone around our necks, whilst it’s true to say that a new ground could also be classed as a millstone but at least one day it will be paid off and we’re left with a new stadium.
HS will be a money pit forever.
One final thought, Barrow Council are spending their levelling up money; £17.5m to be exact on a new Market Hall, that would have been a large chunk of any new stadium cost and arguably a better use of it, and with available grants on top of that we wouldn’t have had to find too much more for a pretty decent stadium that’s fit for the 21st century!
However the decision to continue with piecemeal improvements has been made and I sincerely hope it’s works out, simply I can’t bare the thought of falling back into non league and into another 48 years oblivion.

Me as well to to a couple.
