Re: Welcome David Worrall
Port Vale fans on social media are properly gutted that he’s left; that’s usually a good sign we’ve signed a decent player
Very very promising start to the summer

The comments on there are 100% condemning the Vale management for not offering him a two year deal. Sounds like we are on a winner.

Oi, David Worrell!
'Ear me out, mate. As a proud Barrow fan, I wanted to give you a ruddy warm welcome to our club. We've been 'earing great things about ya, and we're proper chuffed to 'ave ya joinin' the ranks.
Ya know, we reckon you're gonna fit right in 'ere at Barrow. Your skills on the pitch are top-notch, and we can't wait to see ya tearin' up the flanks and showin' them fancy footwork. We've got a 'eart as big as the Walney Channel, and we're ready to cheer ya on every step of the way.
Now, David, we know it ain't easy leavin' Port Vale, but trust us when we say you've made a smart move, mate. Barrow's got a rich 'istory and a proper dedicated fan base. We'll be singin' our lungs out and makin' some noise in the stands, 'elpin' push ya to new 'eights.
So, welcome to Barrow, David! We're all excited to see ya don that blue and white shirt and give it your all. Let's make some magic happen on the pitch, shall we?
Cheers, mate! Up the Bluebirds!

Big signing that
Re: Welcome David Worrall
He absolutely ripped Glennon apart at HS just over a year ago, and that one game seemed to destroy his confidence completely.

I don't think I've ever seen a response so unanimous in its reaction. It's usually spattered with the odd 'we can do better'; 'Barrow's his level' kind of stuff.
A Vale fan on Facebook says: "It feels like one of my kids has just left home."
Heck of a signing.

Played 39 games last season. Don’t be so ageist Tommy.
Might be good, might turn out to be rubbish. Same as any other signing. We shall see. Good luck to him.

Re: Welcome David Worrall
Agree. Can we stop with this crap unless there is any foundation to it.
To put this signing into context, Worrall is a career EFL player who in terms of ability has been able to fit into outfits between lower-mid championship and mid L2 levels.
Whilst many won’t swoon at his acquisition he is a significant signing. He was very much instrumental in Vale’s promotion season and as.has been mentioned gave us all kinds of problems in both games the season before last.
He’s a 100 per center and both PW and the fans will love him. I suspect that might have been part of the attraction for him.
He feels like a great fit and someone who could complement the likes of Robbie Gotts. For those of us that have worked out already that the next step forward for us as a L2 club is consolidation and then development this is a great signing. It’s a step forward in quality.
Has cheered me up no end. Well done to all for getting this over the line. I can imagine that he would not have been short of offers.
