The best interviews are conducted by Adam, by far. Irrespective of the medium.

I don't disagree at all. Adams coverage and interviews on Radio Cumbria are second to none

Are they taking the urine?

They expect someone to travel the length and breadth of the country and do a job of work for f**k all except expenses.

Presumably they also expect that person to edit the footage, and that's the part that takes the real time.

Good luck with that one!

Ermmmm a photographer doesn’t do videos

They take photos

And the fact that it’s an “ufcb” exclusive tells you that they want a young intern fresh from college/Uni and wants experience in the game.

Fair enough Adam, but it still leaves the question about who is going to do the video footage. Are there any plans to solve that one and put us on a par with other clubs?

As for people "bigging up "Mark Simpson, I found him patronising and repetitive!
I have to disagree. Mark Simpson working with Matt Dodd behind the camera took our media side to another level. Something we had never had before. Unfortunately Matt Dodd was not a natural when it came to interviews and as a consequence after Mark Simpson left the interview content suffered last season IMO
Given time the new guy Ethan Thatcher could prove to be a good acquisition. The interviews so far have been a great improvement on last season. Interesting to see the club are advertising for a club photographer to work along side Ethan.
Its basically a voluntary role as they are only paying travelling expenses.Details in link below

Matt was not a natural while interviewing no but what he did give us what absolutely excellent stuff like the inside barrow footage which I know I’ll really miss. Really focused on the fans and the players bond I thought in that.

The fact nobody has yet taken up this role says a lot. Not a video highlight from ourselves yet.

Adams interviews on the radio are by superior of anything the club can do or produce. Keep it up mate

That number 3 (trialist pictured above) looked very quick and direct. Got forward well. Would like to see more of him

The club don’t need to hire someone to record highlights as when the league season gets underway there is a company that send someone to record all games and it is them who do the highlights

I have to agree with the above comment.Adam isn,t afraid to ask the hard questions,ie What,s happening with the future of Richie Bennet. We are very lucky to have him as our commentator.I can,t understand why he hasn,t been offered a full time job with Radio Cumbria or maybe even 5 Live. His football knowledge is second to non and how he picks the players out is beyond me.I have trouble making out who half the players are.Another great interview

Fully agree, Adam is an excellent commentator and interviewer, but he’s not the only “ excellent “ one out there, I’m sure he himself would agree. Tune in to radio Lancashire for example, they have many excellent sport associated commentators. Radio 5 live, what the hell are you talking about man.
