Hard work watching on ifollow - more nerve racking than being there. Totally dominated the game. Morecambe's managers comments after the game were laughable as others have stated on here. Got a decent team here and Stephenson was very impressive. 2-0 what have been a better reflection of the game just wish we could score more goals.

Was a very decent performance. I thought Morecambe were very physical, and recent results suggest they are effective. Great to see us battling against a tough outfit, and giving as good as we got, and coming out on top. It wasn’t a scintillating match, but we looked like a very “don’t mess with us” team. The defence was tremendous, and Chester Ray and Canavan were outstanding, and the midfield tireless. Think we are are a match for anyone in the league, just need a few breaks to create shooting chances and the net to bulge more often.

FORZA BLUEBIRDS, really fantastico, any win is a bonus but a derby win, clean sheet and unbeaten in six says a lot about the manager and the team he is putting together. Playoffs would be a real achievement, would love a cup run but Northampton away is a hard ask. Very happy roman bluebird.

Well what a night that was. Fantastic effort as a collective unit, the players and management won all their personal battles and we ground out three valuable but richly deserved points against our friends across the bay in a battling but largely controlled performance.
Thought the Tifo display really enhanced the match day experience great to see both sets of supporters getting right behind their respective clubs from the off. Looked like we ended up with one or two of our gladiators on the pitch battle scarred and weary and with not much time to recover we will see how that effects us both in the short and the long term.
PW commented on how good the fans were on the night and nothing less will do going forward. I agree we have showed over the years that we can be the twelfth man and who wouldn’t have been motivated by that atmosphere last night. Well done all

Interesting comment by Wild, which unfortunately I can't remember exactly, but to praphrase it was something like Morecambe have been winning by being ugly, but we did it to them tonight.

We won by stinking the place out - hard to disagree. I do find our brand of football - effective as it is - a pretty hard watch . Not sure the pitch helps either. Still, results is results, and Telford is looking better.

Got to disagree. We've played some decent stuff recently without that little bit of luck or bit of quality at the end of it. Even last night there was some great stuff played. Last year we tried to carry on playing football and it cost us after our great start.

Just watched the highlights and then Adams’ interview after the match. The highlights confirmed that we had by far the best chances and that Morecambe rarely threatened. Blaming the pitch and the weather is a classic excuse - guess what, we have a passing game too and we have to cope with the conditions. Maybe Adams was confused by the flashing lights while he was being interviewed…
The pitch does worry me - it seems that we have had heavy rain either during or before nearly every home match, even in August.

We have played way better entertaining flowing football in our previous 3 home games and only got a point from each. I cant fault the commitment and effort but t was not great to watch from either side IMO but I will take the 3 points.

Football is a results business at the end of the day

Yes we’d love to see free flowing football but would we rather see a side that’s organised, hard to beat that gets results or Man City lite on the pitch that maybe doesn’t

Hard to watch at times but effective - that does me nicely
