When are we expecting these announced Nige? Start of the window or later in the summer?

Probably best we don't know yet. Our 'statement signings' in the past have been damp squibs, but no doubt the agent(s) who brokered the deals with a smile on their face and £££££ signs in their eyes think otherwise.

This time last year while other clubs were scrambling around the same suspects our excellent recruitment team went to Aldis middle aisle and snapped up bargains. Spence,Campbell,Tiensa,Ogbungo,Feeley and Acquah. Two exciiting regulars,two 'might have beens but for early season injury' and two who rarely let us down when called upon.The lad mentioned above could be another under the radar. Released by Wimbledon (weeks after scoring his first goal against us) he joined Chelmsford helping them to finish as NL South runners up last season,featuring in the NLS team of the season and capping it with an England C call-up.Chelmsford managers parting comment 'sorry to see him go but glad we helped him get back to a higher level where he belongs'
