You surely don't think that Wild will ask him to join him at Wild's new club do you?russell_anderson wrote: ↑Fri May 24, 2024 9:06 pmI'd be pretty surprised if Adam Temple stays around for too long.

Re: Barrow’s next manager
Leam Richardson
John Coleman
Ian Foster maybe
Gary Bowyer
I can’t imagine we’ll be short of good applicants. Important appointment for the board as Wild aside their other choices haven’t been particularly great, Dunn, Jolley although I do think Cooper was a bit unlucky and at the time I’d have kept him over Brown who we very nearly got permanently don’t forget.

Re: Barrow’s next manager
Head coach rather than manager probably rules a few out; can’t see someone like Coleman wanting to answer to a sporting director for example.
I was hoping we’d go get Altrinchams manager but again whether he’d want to be head coach I don’t know

Yep looks like we are after a Head Coach- the player targets will be through the DoF. Probably a big factor in PW leaving and will rule out a few potentials.
Still searching for the Young Soul Rebels

Ian foster all day long.
England coach didn't get a fair crack at Plymouth so may have a point to prove.
Will know loads of young talent from his England coaching career and played for Barrow.
When he was appointed Plymouth manager they were raving about him being one of the best young coaching talents in the country. Well worth a punt.

Weirdly Phil Parkinson has entered the betting at 6/1

Alty manager
Re: Barrow’s next manager
Meant to be an absolute shocking man manager by all accounts. Players at Plymouth thought he was clueless and that’s from a very good source.Rushy wrote: ↑Sat May 25, 2024 7:45 am Ian foster all day long.

Re: Barrow’s next manager
That explains it haha
Re: Barrow’s next manager
When he took over plymouth they lost thier 2 best players who were on loan from villa and Stoke.
He implemented a high press style of play that the remaining players didn't buy into.
Still think he is a higher pedigree than wild was when Barrow appointed him.
