Seems a decent guy Temple however he's not long been in mens football. Not manager material for me just yet, seems a decent no.2 who the lads like let's keep it that way as long as the new manager wishes to keep him.

While it’s new for us and other clubs at this level the DoF model has been standard for many years in the upper two levels of the game and it’s clearly filtering down as new methods generally do over time.

We’re even seeing clubs starting to further develop that model with a whole team of people doing what a traditional manager would do - I suspect this is what’s behind Vincent Company’s appointment at Bayern Munich; he’s a front man to be wheeled out for the cameras essentially a figure head on the touch line while most of the decisions are made by others.

It’s the way football is moving and in 20 or so years we could be seeing management and coaching “teams” at this level.

In my view we should stick with it, let’s modernise the club as we head in to the mid 21st century.

He’s the director of football. If he’s not having a massive influence he’s not doing his job. Just think back to when cooper was in charge. He was in charge of everything and what a mess that ended up

Don’t understand why we’ve placed so much trust in a “director of football” that has no experience in football other than being an agent.
