They are giving there all. We are playing well without any luck at the moment. We have been very unlucky with injuries this season not something we have had a major issue with really since we retuned to the football league so I guess law of averages say we were due an injury hit season every club has them from time to time.
I'm very sceptical of this " we've been unlucky with injuries " excuse,we're either not preparing right, or the training is wrong or our medical team are too cautious or the player's just don't appear to want to rush back but something is seriously wrong every injury is taking weeks, I thought this might happen with so many player's contracts are up this season, it's an absolute disaster and whether people like it or not we are in freefall and it'll be touch and go if we stay up, I honestly hope I'm totally wrong!
We are 3 points off the play offs. At times this season either the spine of the team has been missing or influential players such as atm it’s Kian Spence have been missing. Seeing the way Kian limped off the other week it came as no surprises to me to hear he was to be out for a few weeks. Keep the faith we will turn this around and finish comfortably mid table. Look where Doncaster were last Xmas third from bottom and where they finished by holding there nerve and sticking with McCann.

As for out of contract players rather than letting them run their contracts down and leave for nothing in the summer like Whitfield did id expect one or two to go for a fee in January with the club safeguarding themselves with sell on clauses. Obviously they can't be forced to go more so the club might encourage them

Us beating Port Vale 4v0 is genuinely looking one of the most bizarre results of the season; we don’t have 4 shots on target most games nowadays.
Still think there’s enough in this squad to be comfortably safe from relegation (although the board did sack Wild for not making the play offs….) but whether it’s coming from the players or the management team the mentality is just weak to keep conceding in the last 5 minutes every single bloody week
The change in the summer looks more ludicrous by the week doesn't it? I could understand their reasons at the time (he was backed two Januarys in a row and tailed off miserably both times with last season a bottling of epic proportions) but it was always one that could bite us on the arse quickly and so it has proved.
Having calmed down a bit from the immediate aftermath I don't we are at the stage for a change, yet.

Bringing on Kouyate instead of Telford for Dallas tells you that Clemence doesn’t think Telford is going to score. You can’t look at it any other way.
I make it 4 in the last 8 league games and 6 in the last 11 since the defeat at Chelsea in the cup. It doesn't matter who we bring on we won't score goals unless we get a lucky break and if we don't sign at least 1 half decent forward in the window we will be looking at relegation because good though our defence is 1 goal against us is enough to lose most matches and a draw is about the best we can hope for which is relegation form. We defended well today but bad marking at one corner was all a team no better than us needed for them to win. Our defence is good, our approach play is decent but we don't have an attacking player good enough for a decent National League team.

I’ve never seen Aqua “busting a gut” he’s quite often around and about and he scores now and then but “busting a gut” never!

Stating the obvious to say that that was a game we should've come away with something from. Personally I think a more astute manager/coach would've come up with a game plan to secure at least a point to be brutally honest.
I for one, (and don't get me wrong I'm not blaming the lad solely for today's defeat) am yet to be convinced Kouyate is a football league player. We've signed, then loaned a few out in recent seasons to let them gain experience and this lad I think would benefit greatly from it. It'd certainly be sink or swim time for him. There's some ability there but he desperately needs experience at a lower level.
I therefore couldn't believe Clemence put him on in place of Dallas. What was he thinking? It won't ultimately decide either of their fates with the club but bizarre decisions such as this do count towards the end result.
He's got to get a grip of this current situation Clemence and quickly. I've stated before and I'll say it again Newby and Gotts should not start together in the same team. Besides being too lightweight they're becoming far too predictable.
It's high time the entire playing and coaching started earning their money and show a bit of basic Barrovian spirit on the pitch. We've had players over the years with far less ability but ten times as much desire and it's abundantly clear to us all who these current shirkers are. They will not be forgiven nor warmly welcomed back once we do get shod of them.

Just watched extended highlights looks like to me the Chesterfield player headed ball onto bar with Farman not getting a touch but no reaction from Farman he doesn't get a touch on the ball from the resulting corner Grimes scores.

He is on a three year contract. We signed him from Everton the day after they released him. The three loan players we have are Dallas from Barnsley, Eccleston from Huddersfield and Popov from Leicester.

Hanging on for a point you get what you deserve. Feel sorry for the board. They get people in position that talk a good talk. People like Iain Wood never held that kind of position anywhere the board think he's some kind of footballing god, then there is a story circulating that someone else wants him and next minute he's the CEO.

If Pete Wild was still in charge he would be saying we need to not be upset at being beat at the massive Chesterfield we need to know our place. People thinking that the missing players will make all the difference. Guaranteed if Telford was somewhere else he would score a hat full of goals.

We play for a one nil win then spend the last 10 minutes of games protecting what we have either 1 nil up or all square then it goes tits up and its too late. Not complicated this football thing play your strongest team play to win and score more than the other side.

We have a good team of players the board must be so depressed at the amount of money they have thrown away

Was at Chesterfield today and I thought our performance was lack lustre. Our players weren,t busting a gut to run after balls and standing off players instead going into tackles with them. They are always late arriving in the box when a ball is crossed and don,t seem determined enough to score a goal.If they were we would be challenging the top of the league.
I am getting a bit fed up.of following them all over the country to see this kind of performance.i want to see them coming off the pitch at the end of the game having given everything.I am not seeing it with this current team.If a player is pulling out at a critical moment he shouldn't be in the team.i just hope come January there is a big shake up with the current team.Something definitely needs to be done to stop this free fall.

And if you listen to his interviews he’s done when asked under Wild he said he was asked to play a different way , again under Clemance he said he’s been asked to play a different way.

The clubs that have put Telford first have got the benefit of him. Maybe he’s not the issue , maybe it’s us? Just maybe
