Maybe they think it's going to be a relegation 6-pointer! ;)

I said it was an awful Sky deal when it was announced this just confirms it IMO. Not only will this have a detrimental effect on the attendance. On a Saturday this game would comfortably attract a crowd of between 4800 to 5200 with Carlisle easily selling their allocation. We will be lucky to pull in 4,000 now. Add to that the effect it will have on the local economy. The pubs wont do half the trade on the Thursday night that would have done on the Saturday. Its an utter and complete shambles whatever way you look at it.

For EFL 2 clubs it was just £79k a season more than the previous deal. League 2 clubs and the fans were royally screwed over imo

It's no fault of Sky. Its the fault of the EFL and all those that voted to accept such a deal.

Could have moved to a 12pm kick off or a 5 pm kick off on a Saturday. Total [SwearFilter] take

I guess the corporate bookings will take a hammering as well….
Don’t be surprised at how many Barrovians will now sit at home or in a pub watching it.

Shocking - but SKY won’t give a toss.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.
