Decent point away from home but it wasn't a classic that’s for sure.

I know it’s all down to the players where they fancy playing the following season but I hope the club are doing absolutely everything they can do to persuade Gottsy to re-sign. He’s probably been our most consistent player this season but this last few months he’s been immense, yesterday summed up how important he is to us.

How did Pressley miss that chance

To me it looked like the ball was more behind him on receiving it, he did well to get a foot on it.

Watching the highlights, it looked to me that, as well as the ball being slightly behind him, the defender was tugging on his arm.

Agreed re Pressley, he was off balance and it came to him very quickly.

I'm surprised how many people are saying it was boring/drab/whatever. I've seen far worse. We played some good stuff and looked the most likely winners.

Yes. Despite looking an horrendous miss in the moment, Pressley had to adjust to meet the ball which I thought he’d slightly overrun and came to him quickly off a really greasy surface.

The conditions I thought played a big part in the outcome. Not extreme by any means but it was noticeable that the ball would not sit down for either side. The pitch itself however looked quite firm. Quite a few passes were flying out of play. There was quite a bit of frustration out there and the relative defensive qualities of both teams then prevailed.

Not a great game by any means. But I too have seen worse in terms of quality if not maybe in terms of excitement.

Just watched the extended highlights. I thought that save early in the game from Whitfield looked good at the time, but it would have been a great goal, as would Jackson’s shot that hit the bar. Pressley was off balance, but I thought it was going in. However, we did win a lot more balls when he came on.
As always, Gotts was involved in everything, with Campbell controlling the middle of the pitch. The back 3 didn’t look troubled - we seem to have hit on something there, albeit through necessity because of injuries. The first half was a bit of a non-event, but overall I enjoyed it.
Great support from Barrow, with a friendly atmosphere as there was nothing significant at stake.
I think the matches against Tranmere and Colchester will have a much greater intensity as they both have something to play for and I expect us to respond to that.
