Not a bad shout. Could maybe be offered a short term deal to see how he gets on. Clearly knows where the net is after scoring 26 this season (albeit against much weaker opposition than we play).
Are you 2 lads on a wind up. Kendal Town to EFL 2 ?

Sadly Kendal have tied him down for another year before we could snap him up

Marcel Oakley - 22 year old 5' 11" right back who has just been released by Solihull. Left Birmingham last summer, was without a club until Whing signed him in October on a short deal until the end of the year and then extended it until the end of the season;- played 29 times from October to the end of the season. Released because he's got an offer at an EFL club (much in the same way as they released Sbarra last season who went to Doncaster).
He played against Barrow in the Pre-season friendly at Birmingham's training ground in 2021.
Solihull fans surprised at his release and assuming its because he has another club lined-up. Looks like a good fit hopefully with more luck than the last FB/WB signed from Solihull. He went from being a promising prospect through the trauma of a bad injury to nothing more it seems than a childminder for the mascots and young supporters.

I think your mistaken with Tiensia it’s Emmanuel Angelo who looks after mascots and young supporters

I’ve counted 27 names so far mentioned on this thread not counting ex-BAFC players.

I wonder what this number will be when we actually sign some one?

My mistake and apologies. I mentioned that after a conversation with a third party.

The Carlisle release list is out and although wouldn’t go with any of the released players how about matty Dennis who has been offered a deal ,scored at holker street and has shown some promise in a poor team with poor service but maybe we can tempt him with the chance to stay in the EFL and play at a higher level than Carlisle and not over pay for him

I would much sooner we signed Kadeem Harris. Yes he is 31 but he was outstanding for Carlisle in his short time there
