I think momentum is massive in play offs and imo Southend and Oldham have had it.

That may be true of their two play-off games, but in terms of league form Southend are far superior. Oldham won only 4 of their last 15.

So last week I believe the ticket allocation for this game was increased from 30000 to 50000 once it was known who the two finalists were.

This would have been in full knowledge of the fact that Transport For London had long since scheduled engineering works that means that Wembley Central tube station will be closed at that time. Hence the chaos that will now ensue.

Despite that, the game sets a new attendance record for this fixture of 52,115 beating the previous record by over 4,000.

Just listened to it.A fantastic match.Never say die attitude.Great to see Oldham back in the EFL.They will bring plenty of supporters to Holker St.I just hope Andy Whing builds us a strong enough team to compete against them.
