Re: New signings
According to Kilmarnock fans he always gives 100%. Has a bit of pace about him, wins his fare share of flick ond and chips in with a few goals. Can hardly find a Kilmarnock fan with a bad word to say about him. Thanked him and wished him all the best with many saying he struggled to hold a place down at the top level in Scotland but EFL 2 could be great signing for us
Re: New signings
His statistics aren't much to write home about. However, I'm a big advocate of letting the paid recruitment professionals do their job as their research goes much further than a quick glance at a Wikipedia page. Then we can give him a chance and judge him after that.
Popular side since '03.

You really want to put the lad down don't you, instead of giving him a chance.behind the goals wrote: ↑Mon Jun 02, 2025 6:30 pmAfter getting 40 minutes against Barrow last Pre-Season these are the minutes in those 22 games.

Re: New signings
Played 30 League and cup games mainly used as substitute which is what he is eluding to in his parting shot.Missed opening weeks with pre-season injury then kept out by loanee Nathan Lowe until the end of the year. Fans felt his presence would have stopped their New Year spiral but for some reason Sadler preferred others and just used him from the bench. Sounds desperate to 'get back on the bike' next season.behind the goals wrote: ↑Mon Jun 02, 2025 4:19 pmDidn't complete any full 90 minutes in league 2 last seasonSKIPPER wrote: ↑Mon Jun 02, 2025 3:45 pm Better name from the Walsall release list is Danny Johnson. 32 (recently) he has been a steady and consistent scorer throughout his career. Made no bones on social media that he thought Walsall would have been automatically promoted had he been used more a comment agreed with by many fans. Problem is the man who under-used him is our gaffers best mate.

Re: New signings
Wish the lad all the best at the Club, just went on flashscore to see how he did in those 22 games, could be a strong forward line next season playing with Acquah.saltcellar wrote: ↑Mon Jun 02, 2025 7:28 pmYou really want to put the lad down don't you, instead of giving him a chance.behind the goals wrote: ↑Mon Jun 02, 2025 6:30 pm

Would much rather get rid of Acquah he is just not good enoughbehind the goals wrote: ↑Mon Jun 02, 2025 7:40 pmWish the lad all the best at the Club, just went on flashscore to see how he did in those 22 games, could be a strong forward line next season playing with Acquah.saltcellar wrote: ↑Mon Jun 02, 2025 7:28 pm

Just say no to VAR
Re: New signings
This lad might just be what we need. We’ll have to wait and see. I do know that unless he or Aquah, or any of them, don't put in double figures next season then it’s going to be a tough old season. We absolutely must address our lack of goals in this window.

Re: New signings
Looking like Campbell & Spence will be leaving looking at players on Contract next Season here is the goals scored last Season.
League 2 Goals Only.
Acquah 6, Foley 3, Newby 3, Fletcher 1, Jackson 1, Mahoney 1. Total 15
So yes we must do better next Season.

Re: New signings
I,m just hoping that Andy Whing manages to find a few hidden gems.Last season he turned our players who couldn,t win a raffle into a decent team.
Personally I am trusting him to produce results no matter who he is managing.I,m hoping he has that midas touch which will only be good for Barrow. In Andy Whing we trust. Here,s hoping I,m right.

Re: New signings
The recruitment team must know this. We've been quick to move in on this lad but not sure if he is being signed as our main striker. Maybe Acquahs on the move?behind the goals wrote: ↑Mon Jun 02, 2025 8:15 pmLooking like Campbell & Spence will be leaving looking at players on Contract next Season here is the goals scored last Season.

Re: New signings
Lots of negative comments before he has even kicked a ball for us.
He might be what we are looking for trust the process

Re: New signings
Pressley wasn’t a prolific scorer yet more than most wanted him to sign this season.
Give him a chance “In Whing We Trust”

Re: New signings
Will 100% back him but we’ll be in a relegation battle with this lad and Emile up top next season. Hopefully more to come

Re: New signings
So you are 100% backing him by saying he is not good enough.Barrowvianbedlam wrote: ↑Mon Jun 02, 2025 9:32 pm Will 100% back him but we’ll be in a relegation battle with this lad and Emile up top next season. Hopefully more to come
