We have to realise that the players we can sign are limited.
On paper this lad has had a chance to prove himself over several years but looks like he has been a squad player so not prolific scorer.
Thankfully the game is not played on paper and he has a chance to prove himself.
With the impending departure of Spence and Campbell it looks like we are going to have to rely on our aging defence for results so lots of draws.
Recruitment has been poor with the disappointment of our record signing Gardner going,Aquah for a big lad is very poor.
Let's just hope this lad performs .

We have not let them go. They have gone on to pursue bigger and better things in their opinion.

Maybe he brings more to a team than just goals? .. Yes he's a forward but like a lot of teams in this league you need 5 or 6 chipping in with goals to do well. Hopefully he can put up a fight with defenders, making space for others to benefit.

If he's a regular in the team working hard and we are doing well, even with others getting the goals I'll be happy.

Yes agree. This is an Andy Whing pick. This is the type of player HE wants in his squad. He’s been doing so well with other peoples picks that it may come as a surprise to some. So be ready for a few more surprises.

I think one things for certain we will be a very hard working hard running outfit. I also feel we could become quite a "big" team. Solihull certainly were. Probably in the Wimbledon mode - that team was gigantic when we met them at Holker Street in the autumn. Just really could do with a striker like Stevens joining us now.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see him being acquahs replacement can’t see us needing two players of such a similar style.
