Not gonna lie, did not see that coming and to get off to a flyer - three up at HT, cant remember the last time we did that!?

Brilliant for the whole team and fans well played boys (well 10 out of 11) I haven't seen any of it so for once can look forward to highlights later.

Edit - just watched, Canavan 2nd yellow, he knew straight away, foolish, almost like a spontaneous kick, but that’s the rule and he gave the ref no choice. See so much worse on the pitch go unpunished. Grabbing at corners being one of them.

McCann and Smith gave some real energy and set the tone for the closing and harassing. Harper made a big difference returning also. Fletcher seems more astute than Hemings, more mobile and able to keep possession with ease. Huge couple of weeks ahead.

Totally different performance tonight.Looks like the players have had a word with themselves.If we win the next two,which is a big ask I believe we will have turned the corner at last.
I just hope we don't return to form at Holker St.I want the players to prove me wrong and show fight and determination for the rest of the season.If they do that we will have nothing to worry about.

Stockport away first match of the season in August 2022 I think. It was Wilds first match as manager. 3 up at HT and hung on to win 3-2.
