Re: Is it doom and gloom ?
The way we play i can't see where a win is coming from expect nothing on sat at fleetwood and dont expect out against Gillingham a draw at best going off recent performances Cheltenham away maybe a draw at best also just dont feel anything positive at the moment i really hope they surprise me and pick up a win i do but I'm unsure if these players have the fight or desire i think we need to start fletcher when he fit and Whitfield as attacking players and offer something and stay 442 Rose and Gordon up front shame we have no other forwards that are ok walker has been useless cameron has hemmings has been poor not seen much of new loan forward to decide yet feel we need another forward bringing in until end of season to help bolster attack a shame we have a big injury list mj williams fletcher are big misses and smith id only keep Fletcher Stanway Whitfield Smith Rose McCan Winterbottom Newby Shipley MJ Williams get rid of rest if possible
Re: Is it doom and gloom ?
The Colchester win should have been the win that changes everything and the lift to go on and beat Harrogate, but after that crushing defeat I'm not sure this team has got what it takes to get the 6 wins I think we now need. We are rock bottom of the form table over last 15, even with an outlying win.
"To achieve anything and to get to the Football League, we have to expect to win every game. I've got to get everyone believing that we can, and I will work hard to embed that mentality into the players, the town, the board and whoever else” Ian Evatt.

Re: Is it doom and gloom ?
Of coarse we’re all gutted about getting nothing from our rivals, to say we’re disappointed would be an understatement. But if we’d have taken two of our four gilt edged opportunities we win that game and that’s how mad it is.
So it’s not looking great and we’re bleeding badly but we’re not dead yet.
All we can do is keep the faith let’s hope we get some of the long termer’s back earlier to give Dino a bit more depth. I know what my heads telling me but I’m keeping faith with my heart and Dino to get us through.

It’s all in the head now. I have no doubt whatsoever this team has the ability but have they the mental strength to get us over the line. In the Niall Canavan Bluebirds programme interview he talks about how Sam Foley and him still talk of how they played with freedom and enjoyment when we had our better seasons under Wild. Hopefully that feeling will return again soon. Come on lads you can do it. Pressure is fighting in a war not being involved in a football match. Go out there and enjoy every moment and make life long memories.
Re: Is it doom and gloom ?
Terrible performance Tuesday but we always play crap against Harrogate. Manager will have learnt a lot Tuesday, our biggest issues for me are injuries. MJ Fletcher Wits, Foley to name 4 would be better than what was out there Tuesday. Glad Gordon is back him and Rose will be a Handful if we can get Whits and Fletcher fit for most the games we will scrape it needs to be a serious look at training and transfer policy at the end of the season.

I wonder who made that decision?

The way we capitulated under wild he did deserve the boot, at the moment you’d snap your hand off for him back. That’s down to poor recruitment, there is a team here but the confidence is shot to bitsbluessupporter wrote: ↑Thu Feb 19, 2026 9:38 pmJust shows we shouldn’t have got rid of Wild!FanzoneFan wrote: ↑Thu Feb 19, 2026 8:31 pm In the Niall Canavan Bluebirds programme interview he talks about how Sam Foley and him still talk of how they played with freedom and enjoyment when we had our better seasons under Wild.

Re: Is it doom and gloom ?
Across the season, we have averaged out to roughly a 0.87 point average, meaning we most likely achieve about 13 points (from the games that are left) and a total of 40 points this season. Based off the last 5 seasons, we would go down in every single one.

We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

That defeat against Harrogate has given Dino the answers he needed.
Far more than the Colchester game.
That first half double substitution is a clear message to the players that he is not going to tolerate that level of performance.
Very interested to see who lines up at Fleetwood. Could be a few names completely omitted from the squad

“Just shows we shouldn’t have got rid of Wild” isn’t a question.
People seem determined to hang onto the Wild year or two…..just go back to the topics surrounding him when he was here, they aren’t very positive!
More importantly, the owners obviously had a reason to get rid, as did Fleetwood.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.
