If that's the case Jonty just why then are we in the position we're in now ,of course it's the system, if you haven't got the quality it's not going to happen you're letting your heart rule your head!
There was nothing wrong with the system in the first 45minutes on Saturday

They didn’t change system in the second half

The issue was the players themselves started sitting deeper and weren’t doing the things that they’d done so well In the first half

So yes Jonty is correct
Adam look at every game we play, 30 minutes we're ok , then we lose steam/ ideas, second half team's then change tactics and attack us , I mention things because they're relevant, I mentioned quality for a reason!
First goal Anderson makes an horrendous attempt to clear the ball, second Canavan doesn't even attempt to tackle the guy and the third was down to Stanway NOTHING to do with anything but quality and keeping a calm head, Jackson was getting overloaded down our left side but Thompson remained glued to Canavan this is because Canavan, Thompson, Anderson are ok when other teams sit back but when they have to cover our so called wingbacks they haven't got the nouse to do this !
To play this system you have to press we didn't that second half!
We're just inept at addressing the issues I've mentioned and it's happened all season so playing with heart etc is just a desperate excuse!

The exception being Colchester where we kept our shape and discipline under intense pressure in the second half we actually then got a foothold in the game, got stronger and won the game. It's in them and we need to see more of that resilience.

Clutching at straws Andy you know how lucky we were to win that game !
No team could play the next 14 games playing like that we wouldn't get 10 points!

I said it was an exception. But I would argue on that premise Fleetwood were lucky to win the last game. Probably a draw would have been a fair outcome but we didn't keep our shape or composure as we just about did against Colchester.

And yes we have got to play better if we are to survive. I'm not clutching at any straws just hoping somehow somewhere we could go on a Shrewsbury type run. But they have a better defence than us.

When your keeper starts throwing them in you are really up against it and somewhat demoralised. But that is in the past and we go again with a chance of redemption tomoz.
We will foller the soccer, over land and sea...

Second half Fleetwoods keeper makes a brilliant save from Fletcher. That goes in its 3.0 and game over. Fleetwood bring Osong on at 2.0 down. You can forget formations etc those two moments changed the game imo. Osong was the difference in the two teams. We just couldn't handle him and he caused sheer panic in our defence every time he got involved.

So what's the excuse for the previous game's? We're down near the bottom for a reason!
OSong DIDN'T make Anderson make that schoolboy error! Osong didn't stop Canavan from tackling/ tracking his man, Osong didn't make Stanway punch a ball into his own goal!
Anderson isn't good enough, Thompson is like a rabbit in the headlights!, it's not their fault, we cannot defend when team's come at us because our defence isn't good enough so why do we play a system when your defence don't push up and wingbacks who don't also push up you then end up defending onblock.
Look at Harrogate individually they're nowhere near us but they set up to frustrate and their defence were really solid ,whereas we look anything but that!
Dino can't really change things unless certain player's return one is foley but he won't be match fit so he'll have to be introduced slowly, also Williams if we are lucky enough to see him before April!
These were 2 massive losses as with Canavan who has totally lost his pace.
I really don't want us to go down but attitude yes is great but surely we can't continue with Barkhuizen and Jackson defending as in the last 30 minutes they disappeared!

To be fair Barkhuizen for 60 minutes was having probably his best game for us. It was even mentioned on commentary that he had probably been our best player up to that point and I couldn’t disagree.
Like I’ve said Osong changed the game and caused sheer panic amongst our ranks. You might not like or agree with what I’ve said but that’s my measured undramatic opinion. He really was the game changer something sadly we don’t possess. We now move on to Saturday

Nothing I've seen since this manager came in is showing me we'll survive!
Yes he can only work with what hes got and we have several players out injured which I do believe would make a big difference if they were available.
Win our 1st match 1-0 but they missed a sitter
Lose 1-0 to Harrogate but we have several chances but can't hit a barn door
Go 2-0 up thrn completely implode although we gift them the 3rd goal.
Lose today to a utter shit team. Have 0 efforts on goal, leave 2 experienced lads out of squad, Mahoney gets on before anyone else and is [SwearFilter] shocking!!! Keeper gives away a corner from a shot going 2ft wide of his post in the 102nd minute and they score!
Now we have to go to Cheltenham then we have Bristol and Accrington at home - 4 points minimum from those games or we are gone because after that we have the likes of Walsall, MK, Chesterfield, Salford to come !
Change the keeper for someone who wants to speed up the game and isn't making silly errors, get dome experience back in the squad and sort this bullshit formation out!

Some terrible decisions have got us to where we are now.
Knowing we won’t score many we need a keeper and a defence who can shut teams out.
Stanway was never the answer but since his concussion he has gone backwards.
The referee today was terrible but we can’t keep blaming the officials. They don’t give short back passes, let the ball through their legs or chuck the ball into our net.

The rumours of Dino at previous clubs needs to happen now. He needs to make this pack of shithouses run up and down the slag banking wearing nothing but a pair of skiddies. Knock them back down a leg or two.
As for that cheeky [SwearFilter] Harper, what right has he got to tell any player what to do, he had a go at Malcolm in the first half and Malla should have told him to get to [SwearFilter].
National league here we come.
We’re [SwearFilter]

A point away from home is good, its just this inconsistent defending at the end of games as someone pointed out 14 goals conceded in the last 10 minutes this season and what 3 or 4 ? are under Dino. Game management has to be questioned as why take off our attacking threat and sit back to hold on for the points and its back firing. Gillingham and Cheltenham were poor and we got 1 point from 4 due to late goals.
Really need the football gods to smile on us today and have Crawley, Tranmere, Harrogate, Bristol and Newport to lose - not too much to ask is it 🤣 then for me 2 huge games to play in a week against Bristol and Accrington. If we can pull off a miracle and get 4 - 6 points esp as Bristol is one of our games in hand then it really sets us up for the final push. Mcdonald and Foley make a massive difference but really need Smith, Williams and Whitfield back for the big fight ahead.

We will survive by the last game of season the two teams being relegated will have been sorted and we will have 4 more points by then.
