I've just listened to it and didn't come away with that impression. He said that the owners were backing him all the way, that they were looking for a right back and hoped to have someone by next week.
Adam's question re Whitfield and Powell implied that they were part of the injury list and gave him the way out so he just went along with that line.
Your entitled to your opinion but the guy was evasive and spoke waffle imo.
Could anyone explain what his tactics are? We have won one game and that was only because the Colchester radar was off target that day. They had enough chances to beat us comfortably.
Gordon apart who at least tried that was a performance by a group of heartless, gutless, clueless charlatans yesterday
Yes Dino is passionate speaks as though he cares but his tactics and ability to get his team to play as though they care resemble a pound shop Michael Jolley imo
Got to agree about Dino and his (lack of) tactics yesterday. Said repeatedly in his post-match interview that the players know their jobs.
They clearly didn't and how he didn't call them out for their lack of composure when in possession, against an ordinary side, is troubling. Lost count of the aimless punts from defenders and midfielders alike.
There's not one player demanding the ball who's looking to dictate our play.
There doesn't seem to be a tactical plan in place apart from the clear instruction to let the opposition score the winner when time is almost up.

Got a buyer lined up then, have you?!!

Exactly!
Pretty sure if a rich buyer came in the BOD would seriously consider it but haven't seen anyone even offering to invest.

Rumours are to be believed they did turn away some investment obviously not the mega monies required, I think it was the Barrow eats lot.

Not likely to either given our current position and state of the ground. Should we be relegated be interesting what the current owners do

Tyler Walker not having a shot at goal for a striker is criminal ridiculous he passed it back out of the box.

Josh Gordon fronted what was left of the holker street end to his credit but for all that work rate he doesn't do enough in the box.

Midfield was non existent for large parts of the game at times it felt like Gillingham had an extra player due to our lack of intensity.

Dino talks a good game but starting at Cheltenham need to see those words into action.

Agree wholeheartedly MSST and Mulla absolute zero ambition and lost count of the number of times wasted passes and miss kicks.
Barky another decent game but at fullback if that’s being front footed we are definitely Donald Ducked.
The other thing for me is we are so slow and ponderous, not having Brandon in is baffling.
No subs when instructions are not carried out is also baffling.
